Kilusan ng Makabayang Pinoy (English: Patriotic Filipinos Movement, abbreviated KMP), currently Kilusan ng Makabayang Pilipino, is the largest and most active political party in ePhilippines today. The oldest political party of ePhilippines in eRepublik, KMP leans on the Center-Right, Libertarian. Originally formed to unite Real Life (RL) Filipinos in eRepublik, it now unites eFilipinos who care for ePhilippines.

KMP is one of those organizations that combat political takeovers. Its members takes pride of being part of the ePhilippine Government. They are active members of the military. They want to keep theirselves out of the spotlight. They work on the background. They are not for the glory. Their main goal is to preserve the ePhilippines as an independent country.[1]

Objectives

General Objective

  • To strive to improve ePhilippines for the betterment of its citizens through:
    • the betterment of ePhilippine infrastructure;
    • the openness and transparency of government;
    • the provision of stability through political means; and
    • the safeguarding of the right to a fair and representative government.

Foreign Relations Objectives

  • To maintain the status quo within our boundaries;
  • To keep "free" the only four original provinces of ePhilippines;
  • To be more active in pushing SOL forward;
  • To send diplomats to major countries in order to push political malcontents out; and
  • To send better diplomats to smaller, closer (geographically) countries to pursue policy of pluralism in maintaining independence, and providing informal agreements of mutual support (i.e. supporting troop movements, etc.).

Domestic Relations Objectives

Socio-economic Objectives

  • To keep income tax at a level 10% across most industries except for wood, DS and diamonds which are at 50%;
  • To be protectionist in moving ticket, food and oil import taxes while be reasonable (low) on other import taxes; and
  • To keep VAT's level.

Political Objectives

  • To maintain majority in Congress in case of national contingencies (i.e. PTO's, etc); and
  • To let the party free within the boundaries of the General Objective stated above. [2]

History

The KMP was formed mainly as a reaction to the havoc created by the Secta del Guru Varnish during their Political Takeover (PTO) here in April of 2009. Seeking for a party that will work to protect ePhilippine interests, a group of patriotic ePinoys, led by Apinyaku and Nikko_33, decided to band together to achieve this goal.

The first step towards this was securing a party of their own. They decided to PTO the Secta's party, to give them a dose of their own medicine, during the Party Presidential elections of May 2009. However, 2 days before the Party President Elections, the Secta group fled the country since they were slowly being outmaneuvered in the political scene, and they know they could not sustain the chaos they had created for very long. [3]

So the group marched into the party and since then had handled it responsibly. During its first foray in the Congressional elections (May 2009), it won 13 seats, out of 15 candidates fielded. This winning tradition has been maintained by the party in every congressional elections to this day - achieving high success rates of victory, and maintaining a significant presence in congress.

Aside from the legislative, the KMP has been actively involved in the executive branch of government - holding key positions in vital government departments (Labor, Finance and Education), helping to maintain stability and progress.

One of the party's biggest achievement is contributing 100 gold (out of the 300 needed) to the Q5 Hospital that the Filipinos now enjoy in Palawan. Another 100 gold was given for the upgrade of New DoHA Weapons (a Q5 weapons factory), sort of the ePhilippine national armory They remain active in national projects that would benefit everyone and back it up by helping run it and contributing whatever or however much they can.

During the May 2010 occupation of ePhilippines, KMP was temporarily dissolved. After ePhilippines has fully recovered, it succeeded the "Girl Power Party" with the name "Kilusan ng Makabayang Pilipino" after obtaining permission from GPP's president Carmi28 who was a longtime member of KMP. [4]

So that, in a nutshell, is KMP - one of the most active and progressive parties in ePhilippines. The patriotic stance is not restricted to RL Filipinos. The party define its brand of patriotism to include all eFilipinos (RL or not), who have the best interests of ePhilippines in their hearts.[1]

Military

During Jelly9473's December 2011 term, he created a Military Unit for the members of KMP under the name Ferocious eFilipinos (Filipino: Mababagsik na eFilipino, abbreviated FeF). During Aersidius' term as both Party President and MU Commander, he renamed it to Hukbo ng Makabayang Pilipino (English: Patriotic Filipinos Army, abbreviated HMP) to make it sound a bit less silly and be more welcoming to RL Filipinos. HMP is currently the official MU of KMP.
