Korbin King was a citizen of USA.
He was elected and served as the first president of the United States of America.
He went missing in April 2009 and it was believed that he died, however he was seen in California in November 2009.
While much of the USA's early beginnings were based in chaos, as none of its inhabitants were familiar with Erepublik or its functions, several people rose to prominence rather quickly. Initially, the largest Political Party in the USA was the Democratic Party. There was some uncertainty with who would lead it, and purely by accident Korbin King was in the Party president's seat come time for the General Elections. As such, he was easily elected as the first president of the United States.
Korbin carried much of an isolationist policy for his terms in office, with high taxes for imports and low taxes for VAT. The population of the United States struggled for much of the early time, and as a result the USA was left with a small but active group of citizens for its first population boom, which occurred in mid January.
On December 15, 2007 Korbin King, attempting to find a solution to lower the unemployment rate in USA, created the first bank in eRepublik. The Federal Reserve Bank has been used as a tool that the US administration will use to support the economy by giving loans to the Citizens that want to launch start-ups in eRepublik.
King left office at the end of January, amid criticism on his economic policies. After he retired, he became Mayor of Honolulu until May of 2008. The Q3 Hospital in Honolulu, which King paid for by selling his companies, was been enshrined as the Korbin King Memorial Q3 Treatment Center. It was destroyed when it was conquered during World War III.
He moved to Thailand and has become the president of Thailand in December 2008.
