Attempted Romanian coup in Bulgaria
In September 2008, PEACE member nation Bulgaria was tipped off of a number of Romanians, including former President of Ireland Victor Petrescu, who had moved to cities around Bulgaria.
In response, Bulgarian President krembo called upon the Security Council for help. Secretary-General Carpathia ordered PEACEKeepers to move to Bulgaria to counter the Romanian influx.
Romanian President Alex Craciun, in a communiqué sent to krembo, said that the Romanian presence was to thwart a perceived goon presence, despite the fact that krembo had asked for goon assistance in preventing the Romanian takeover.
