Short History

The Start

MCKitkat is a citizen of Belgium, born on the 5th of June 2012.

He had to choose between settling down in Germany, France or Belgium. He chooses Belgium because of the close real-life history between Belgium and Luxembourg (his real-life country).

He joined the official Belgian Forums and the official chat after two days and started learning. He joined the Belgian Liberal Union and won the Party president elections. He renamed the party into the Belgian Monarchist Party but due to high inactivity of the little party, he decided to resign and join a bigger party. He joined the ranks of All TOgethers and candidates for the Congress but the party failed to reach the Top 5. He spent the rest of the months working, fighting, training and making friends on the forums and on the official chat.

Riding the wave of success

MCKitkat then took a vacation for the month of August, he was confident to reach the top after this short vacation. After his return, he began working on his to-do list. Nohjis' won the Presidential elections of September and MCKitkat joined the cabinet as Minister of Foreign Affairs. It was his first job in the government so far and he due to his good work he took over the MoFA department under NLSP's and under Lily Jayne Summers CP term.

Still, during September, he was elected into Congress for Res Belgica.

Due to his activity on the forums and on the chat, MCKitkat learned very fast from the game and got the right connections. People began to trust him and give him more chances to develop. At the end of October, BrunoCND got elected as commander of the Belgian National Army and asked him if he would like to take the command of the Belgian Training Academy. MCKitkat accepted the offer and shortly after got accepted by Congress. After a short journey in the USA, he returned to Belgium and was for the month of February the CP appointed Immigration Officer. With the election of Boer Jan as CP in March 2013, he became his Vice-President.

After his term as Vice-President, MCKitkat became the Minister of National Security under Alexandross and helped clean the country of multi-Accounts during the elections. After his experience as MoNS, he still uses to check all accounts during elections. After Alexandross' term he candidates as Judge for the Supreme Court of Belgium. He wasn't elected judge and thus became the Minister of Education under Beaverss Tribute to Raskol.

Everything's Magic

On the night of Day 2015-2016 (27th to 28th May 2013) his mentor NLSP made an appearance, some of his rare ones since his Retirement, telling him that his current way of handling the danger in Belgium was not wrong but ineffective. During that night, MCKitkat changed his whole point of view and decided to follow the advice of his mentor. Shortly after this appearance, he was redirected to the Song Everything's Magic by Angels and Airwaves which would become the theme song of this whole chain of events.

On Day 2016 (28th May 2013), MCKitkat decided to recreate the United Left Alliance together with Zangetsu-osan. The goal was to create a real left party, with the main ideas of back then (2011). The actual left party being too radical and considered by many as not defending left ideals. The United Left Alliance worked to provide all that but failed due to the country not needing any of their ideas, thus the project was canceled. Immediately after he heard that the former political party H.O.P.E. had been recreated^[1], MCKitkat joined it. The party itself has changed its name various times already and was for a short while known as ULA.

Presidential Elections

Seeing that it was time for him to bring the action back to Belgium, MCKitkat made his candidature for CP official. On the 6th of June, he was elected Country President of Belgium with the support of 7 parties and got 70% of the votes.

With a lot of motivation and plan, he set up for a successful term, but it wasn't. In fact, Belgium was still under PTO Threat, and the ATO group split into two groups. The first group wanted a complete wipe, as that was the only solution to the current situation. The other one was against a wipe and wanted to continue with the current actions. MCKitkat was clearly siding with the Anti-Wipers but he had his own problems. It turned out that he wasn't able to be online as much as he'd liked too and there was a serious lack of communication between the CP and the Ministers. This ended in two NE's against the UK. While the first one failed, the second one passed but it had already been too late for a wipe. As consequence, MCKitkat fired his MoFA team, as they had acted without his consent.[2]

His term was now considered by many as one of the worst in Belgian History. MCKitkat had his problems dealing with this disaster as he wanted the best for his home country. Luckily, he found back to his normal state when other CP's failed their terms and did worse jobs.

Two-Clicking in the UK

During the month of July 2013, MCKitkat left Belgium for the United Kingdom, beginning there a period of two-clicking until after the summer holidays. He then returned to his home-country and got active again.

The Big White Emptiness

MCKitkat has no knowledge of what happened in the year 2014 and the months after his return from the UK. The only thing he remembers is a term as Minister of Defense in January of 2014 but only because the Wiki told him so.

Taking Risks, Finding PLUTO and embracing Tay Tay

In August, MCKitkat took over as Minister of FUN under Critically, but in his mind, he was already preparing himself for the next month, September 2015. Belgium had calmed down after repeated occupations and Airstrikes and he was finally ready to step over the shadow of his first presidential term. He ran unopposed and was elected President of Belgium in September of 2015. MCKitkat was tired of the previously mentioned occupations (mainly by Slovenia) and frustrated by Asteria's World Dominance. He decided to take risks and search for countries in similar situations as Belgium, under the oppression of Asteria. It is during this month that he met with longtime allies and friends from the United Kingdom but also with Spain and Ireland to create an informal pact for military coordination called PLUTO (MCKitkat, known for being really bad with inventing names, was very proud to have named the pact PLUTO). The whole month was spent working towards the goal of formalizing the pact into a real alliance and fueled by this desire and the support of his allies Spain, Ireland and the United Kingdom, he ran unopposed for another term in October. He spends this month also working towards the goal of making PLUTO a reality and was proud to present to Congress a Charter which was accepted unanimously.

In November, he was asked to be Minister of Defense for Fhaemita Malodorous but also occupied the position of External Consultant for the United Kingdom under Addaway. It was also in November that MCKitkat embraced the teachings of Tay Tay and eSwiftism. He proceeded to have visions from Tay Tay and write down her words.

MCKitkat was elected to Congress the 26th of November.

MCKitkat and the Wiki

MCKitkat is one of the few persons in Belgium, who was actively updating the Belgian wiki pages. He has been active since the day he joined eRepublik and has already made around 500 updates. His goal is to update every Belgian page and to add more until every person in the country has a wiki page.

Military

MCKitkat joined the Belgian Training Academy. He stayed there until he reached the strength limit and then joined the Belgian National Army. After a short stay there he moved back to the Belgian Training Academy to take over the command of the MU. MCKitkat resigned from the Belgian Training Academy end January and returned back to the Belgian National Army.
