What are ranks in eRepublik?

In nationally organized militaries, such as the British Army or the United States Armed Forces, citizens who are members are given a rank, which displays their level of importance, responsibility and skill in the national military. This rank is not related to the damage ranks that every citizen in eRepublik has.

Useage in Organized Militaries

Major is an officer rank, who holds a number of positions in organized militaries. Generally, he is the second in command of a military unit. As such, he has the ability to kick out members of the military unit who have been in the unit for more than two days, set the Daily Order for the whole unit and directly move members between the regiments. Also, in terms of military organization, he commands a group of regiments (half of the overall regiments in a military unit) and he will be the MU Press Officer, responsible for media (newspaper) presence and recruitment in the country or world.
