Malta Calling (Maltese: Leħen Malta) is a newspaper for the Maltese community in Erepublik created in November 2008. It is owned and operated by the Maltese Mission. Articles are written by the co-Editors and Maltese Mission leaders; malta_1990 and Tommy Tommasino. The newspaper articles are published regularly and usually deal with the eMalta forums, the progress of forum discussions, awareness of Malta in real-life and welcoming new nations to Erepublik. It holds a total of 118 subscribers. This has greatly increased in the month June when the frequency of articles increased as the paper went global. Its most successful article to date was Malta: The Heart of the Mediterranean, published on Friday 19th June 2009, which obtained 883 votes.
