Melchizedek Smith has been extremely involved with Australian Politics.
Australian Independents
He has been elected as Australian Independents party president on three separate occasions. He was also Senate Speaker multiple times. The first time he did this was on June 15, 2009, where he beat Alex Australis very narrowly, with a vote of 19-18.
The next month, he was re-elected as the AI party president. On July 15, 2009, he was voted in again as Party President with 29 votes, ahead of westyjacob (5 votes), and Andrei1095 (2 votes).
In August as well, he was re-elected for a third consecutive month. On August 15, 2009, he was re-elected with 25 votes, ahead of H.Nelson (15 votes), and Czar Gabriel Cervantes (0 Votes).
Australian Cabinet
Melchizedek Smith was also involved with the Australian Cabinet.
On September of 2009, Melchizedek Smith ran in the election of Prime Minister of Australia. Whilst he was not successful in this (he lost narrowly to stewstoyc, he was still chosen by Stewstoyc to be the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia.
On September 15, due to Real Life issues, Stewstoyc resigned from the game, and Melchizedek Smith officially became Prime Minister of Australia, a position that he held until October 5, 2009. Although he re-ran for Prime Minister in the October election, he lost to Patti11. The main reason for this is considered to have been the influence of H.Nelson as a third contender in the election, and then the Party President.
On September 21, Melchizedek Smith officially appointed Timeoin as his Deputy Prime Minister. If Melchizedek had won the election, Stewstoyc would have been the Deputy PM.
Melchizedek Smith was also the Senate Speaker for a number of terms, too.
Melchizedek Smith last membership was in the True Blue Party.
Australian Senate
Melchizedek Smith was also elected to represent the Australian Senate on three occasions:
- to represent the state of Queensland on two occasions, those being May and June of 2009.
- In July of 2009, Melchizedek Smith ran and was successfully elected to represent Australia as a Senator in New South Wales.
During the months of June and July of 2009, Melchizedek Smith was elected to represent Australia as the Senate Speaker.
Military
Melchizedek Smith was a member of the Australian Commando Unit Koalas, where he stayed for many months. On March 12, 2010, Melchizedek joined STARS blue unit.
Business
Melchizedek Smith owned the organization called The Smith Family, which he used to gift newer players to above 40 wellness, so that they can fight and increase their wellness through wargames.
