North Korea lost all of its regions around the start of the PEACE invasion of North America, however its most valuable Medium Iron region Hamgyong was liberated from Hungary towards the end of the conflict. After North Korea was PTO'd by Russia, all but one of North Korea's regions have been occupied by Russia.
Of the lost regions, Kangwon is resourceless and is occupied by China. Pyongan has Medium Grain has been taken back by North Korea, along with Ryanggang region except Kangwon, Chagang, Hwangae, Hamgyong.

Population

Since no real-life North Koreans have access to Erepublik (the Internet is banned in the country), the population of its virtual counterpart is mainly made up of American, European, and Chinese citizens.

The main language in North Korea is English with most newspaper articles being written in these languages. The main working language of the current government is also English, but recently many Chinese have taken leadership making Chinese co-official language.

Involvement in PEACE's Invasion of North America

North Korea got involved in the PEACE invasion of North America by attacking Far Eastern Russia on July 21 2009 in an attempt to block Russia from attacking North America.
Russia and her allies launched a counter strike into Hamgyong, which was conquered on July 25. Russia marched through Kangwon on July 26 and then took Hwangae the day after. Hwangae housed North Korea's only Q5 Hospital and so the vast majority of North Koreans resided there, when Hwangae fell on July 27 complete occupation was inevitable.

On July 30 2010 Russia attacked the final three North Korean regions, Chagang, Pyongan and Ryanggang. They were conquered the next day, ending North Korea's presence in the New World. Soon after China attacked Russia and returned most of the regions to North Korea. And from then onwards became the Golden Age of North Korea. But in February 2011 there was some instability and Japan invaded North Korea, after the Congress chose Japan as Natural Enemy. And the country was erased from the World Map. But soon in March 2011 our President negotiated the return of two our regions - Ryanggang and Pyongan.
