You can access this feature from the Gold and Extras page or from wherever you see Need Gold?.

These packages are available for both citizens and organizations and you can buy them by following two very easy steps.

Important: You will buy the packages for real money.

Step one - choose the package you want to buy

Citizen/Organization can buy one of the following packages once every 7 days:

• 60 € for 80 GOLD (0.75 €/1 gold)
• 25 € for 40 GOLD (0.625 €/1 gold)
• 10 € for 20 GOLD (0.5 €/1 gold)
• 3 € for 5 GOLD (0.6 €/1 gold)

In early 2010, the amounts were changed and they were:

• 60 € for 140 GOLD (0.43 €/1 gold)
• 25 € for 55 GOLD (0.45 €/1 gold)
• 10 € for 20 GOLD (0.5 €/1 gold)
• 3 € for 3 GOLD (1 €/1 gold)

Citizen/organization can buy an additional small package (the one for 3 €) in case of emergency.

A check-box is available under each package, so choose the package that you want.

After pressing the "Buy" button, one of the following happens:

• A message will appear: "Must choose a package"
  • This is corrected by choosing the package you want.
• A message will appear: "You can buy only one eRepublik Gold Pack every 7 days."
  • You have to wait until the period of 7 days ends before buying a new package

If no error message appears you will continue to the next step.

Step two - choose payment method

Payment methods

On step two you must select one of three* possible payment options to complete your purchase. You can choose which option do you prefer for making the payment by clicking on one of the four* logos:

• PayPal logo - link to your PayPal account
  
• Credit card logo - link to ePayment page on which you can pay by your Credit Card
  
• PayByCash logo - link to PayByCash.com page
  
• Pay by SMS logo - link to enter the access code purchased by SMS. Purchase by SMS can only be made for 3 € transactions. Standard SMS rate will be added to the cost.

Terms of service box has to be ticked

You can get an error message if check-box next to "I have read and agree with the Terms of Service" is not ticked.

Check the box to complete the transaction.

After the transaction

Write down the required data for payment and your transaction will be successful. After a successful transaction, a countdown with days, hours, minutes, seconds will appear until the next time you can buy a new amount of gold. Few minutes after a successful transaction, the paid amount of gold will be transferred to you Gold account on eRepublik.

Complete offers

In November 2009, eRepublik launched a special program to offer Gold through sponsored programs.

Below the aforementioned Real Money Gold Exchange, there are some free offers, available only to citizens, not organizations. These offers are promoted by an intermediary third party and not by eRepublik. Please read the information for each offer, and don't forget that some offers may take seconds, minutes, hours, days and even months to complete.

Note: All countries have different offers and some offers are only available in certain countries!

Invite Gold

If you have signed up to eRepublik via an invite and have reached Level 6 after Day 912 (May 20, 2010), then the person who invited you will receive 10% of the gold that you received. So if you purchased 140 GOLD, they will get 14 GOLD. This does not apply to people who have been invited, and have received the referral bonus for, before Day 912.
