No doubt you have spotted all the wars going on, and may even have seen the eUK has some occupied regions. eRepublik plays host to all sorts of war, some 'real' wars, and others 'training' wars. You can develop your rank, earn gold, and get various medals by fighting. This is why nations not experiencing actual conflicts hold their training wars.
