An export license is a license that every company needs to sell its products to a country's market (even to its national market). Companies cannot sell products in a country if they do not have an export license for that country.
When you create a company in a country, a free export license for that country is offered. To sell to other countries you must buy extra export licenses.
Buying export licenses
To buy an export license, the company owner should open the company page. In the "Market Offers" section, there is a "Buy Market License" button.
Select a country from the box. All countries will appear, except for:
- the countries for which the company has licenses already;
- the countries that are occupied;
- the countries that are at war with the company's country;
- the countries with which the company's country has a Trade embargo.
After clicking "Buy" the company receives the export license and the following message: "Congratulations, you bought a license to sell your products in (country name)."
