Saoirse Saoirse (meaning Freedom in Irish), was a populist pro-military party in Ireland. They tried to express/ enforce the majority opinion of the nation but they also valued each individual’s freedom to believe and act differently. Populism means they valued every citizen’s opinion equally and for that reason they had traditionally been a party of young members who did not want to take second place to any in-party oligarchy. On December 7, 2010 the party was dissolved when Ireland was completely taken over by the UK. As a result Ireland lost all of her parties. Since then, new parties have been created.
Our founding members were Clownprince37 and Niall H, and shortly after our launch we obtained a top 5 position in e-Ireland. In June 2010 we fell out of the top 5 for the first time, our membership declining below 30 at one stage. However we regrouped and reinvigorated. We are on the way up again having recruited many active players and a re-focused our mission as the voice of the people where youth are especially welcome

eIreland
Our motherland has the potential to be of the greatest countries in the eworld. We are determined to serve Ireland’s interests so this potential is achieved so everyone has a country we can be proud of.
Populist Democracy
We are a party with quite a few "younger members" this is one of the greatest things about our party. Everyone is heard! We do not believe the number beside your avatar should determine how much of an input you get. We want Youth and we know you are sick of being in the shadows, join us and i promise you will be heard.
Freedom
Each member is free to believe what the like and act on their beliefs, party policy is determined by the majority, but we recognise and respect the value of diverse opinions. Vote management has become widespread in other parties, our members deserve better, they should vote for the best candidate, and it is up to our electoral candidates to demonstrate they are worthy of a vote. Military
The Military is a major priority for Saoirse. In the past we have had many members as Commanding Officers in the IDF and we have organised party lotteries to part fund its operations. In March 2010 Saoirse members decided to actively support the ICA. The major benefits of the ICA over the IDF are improved weapons distributions to help the ranking up of each member and a streamlined command structure allowing us to have the maximum possible influence in all our activities. We support a good working relationship between the IDF and ICA as both organisations have important roles to play in e-Ireland’s defence
Economy
Saoirse has a flexible economic stance. We believe a strong private industry is vital to a strong e- Ireland. We also believe the e-Irish government should provide key services for her citizens in an efficient way as possible. The government should educate and protect younger and lower skilled workers to ensure they can develop to their potential. Also private companies should be aided through incentives to export and protection from dumping by foreign companies.
Foreign Affairs
Saoirse supports e-Irelands membership of Broillance. Our allies have demonstrated their willingness to protect us when ever necessary and we encourage we do the same. Although we do not wish to make any permanent enemies, opportunities to increase our strength should be seized. The timid e-Ireland is a thing of the past and we embrace this change
