History of Serbia

The greatest concentration of Serbians has been in Austria. In November 2008, a group of Serbians took over the inactive Nacionalna stranka Karantanije party later renaming it Austrian-Serbian Alliance. After that Serbs made political takeover in Austria and they became majority population in Austria. On 24 January, in eRepublik Insider newspapers was announced that Serbia will come to eRepublik on 11 February instead of Taiwan. After Croatia-Serbia War 5 regions were occupied by Croatia: Belgrade, Eastern Serbia, Vojvodina, Raska and Western Serbia. Read more about how did Serbia lost its regions in: Days of wrath.

Vojvodina was returned from Croatia by Hungary on 25 June 2009, after a win against 9 MPPs. Few days later, all of the occupied regions were returned to Serbia.

Croatia has been conquered at the end of March of 2011 in an operation called Peacekeeper.

Later in the year, Serbia would launch a successful invasion of Romania, followed by Ukraine, and Russia. It than assisted Iran and Hungary to invade China.

File:Icon position polit partypresident.gif Political Parties

At the first month there were 3 parties in Serbia. One was Serbian (Patriotska Stranka Srbije), one was Croatian (Stranka Stamenih Hrvata) and one was from strangers who came to TO Serbia. During the war with Bulgaria, Serbia lost all parties, as they finished in Bulgaria.

After the war, Serbs made one party again called Spasimo eSrbiju and later they made a new party called Srpska Konzervativna Stranka. Before the congress elections in June 2009, a TO group from Spain created a third party called Socijal-Demokratska Partija.

Currently there are over 50 political parties in Serbia.

The first Congressional Elections were on February 25, 2009. The only Serbian party - Patriotska Stranka Srbije won 55% of Congress, and Croatian party - Stranka Stamenih Hrvata won 45% of Congress. After few weeks some Congress members from PSS left, and Stranka Stamenih Hrvata got majority in Congress. After that, Serbia lost 5 regions in war against Croatia. At next Congress elections on 15th March 2009 PSS got 100% of Congress. Because of conquering by Bulgaria in a war this party is now in Bulgaria, but all Congress members are still in Serbia. A new party was created called Spasimo eSrbiju that won 100% of Congress on elections on 25th April 2009. One day before the May elections, president of Spasimo eSrbiju party, Vladimir_Kezic got hacked. The candidate list was changed with some foreign players (which were later proved to be Croats), and since that was the only party that had congress candidates, the Martians, as they were called, won majority of Congress. After TO by Martians, on elections in June when SeS party and SKS party teamed up, Serbs got back 100% of their Congress.

The first President ever elected was BorKan who began his presidency on 6 March 2009. He was member of Croatian elite army called ZDRUG. He became president, after admins banned Matija, the only Serbian candidate, on election day. BorKan was impeached on 1 April 2009.

Second Serbian president was Lipec who was de facto first Serbian president elected by the Serbian people. He was president of Serbia for 2 months and when he won his third elections, the Martian government impeached him. After the impeachment of Lipec, 2nd placed candidate Arcibald Rajs became the president of Serbia. Then when president of Croatia proposed declaring war to Serbia, the Martian government again impeached the president, and since there was no 3rd candidate, Lipec again became the president of Serbia (because he won the elections month before).
