When Shawtyl0w joined erepublik as a new citizen his primal interest was to fight as a soldier. He joined the Military Unit 'Praetorian Guard NL' and started fighting against the oppressor of the Netherlands at that time, Poland or the pinks as people in the Netherlands used to call them. After a few months Shawtyl0w climbed up the ranks in the MU when he was promoted a regiment captain. After a few years in the Praetorian Guard political friction caused the MU commander to leave the Netherlands and many of the soldiers of the MU to leave for a different MU called the Dutch Armed Forces(DAF). DAF is the state MU of the Netherlands and follows government orders to the letter. After a few months in the MU Shawtyl0w applied for a captain position and became a captain of his own regiment. At some point he was promoted a 2nd commander of the MU an currently he is the military commander leading the Dutch national troops into battle.
Shawtyl0w has always tried to help his friends, when this meant leaving his MU to join a MU in foreign soil to protect democracy or switch MUs to help set combat orders he did so without questioning. Now that Shawtyl0w is Military Commander of the state MU this has become impossible as he has a responsibility to the MU.
Politics
Shawtyl0w has a rich political career in the Netherlands.
He has held quite a few political offices ever since his first term in a government back in September of 2015. Officially retuired from positions as minister in August 2018. Starting August 2018 Shawtyl0w only accepts support functions such as government advisor and state sacretary positions.
