Soren Nelson

Soren Nelson was born on day 910 of the New World, during the final days of V1.
Politics
He joined the top party at the time, the USWP. He would later leave them for the Federalist party. In February 2011 PP elections Soren ran for the Party president of the Feds. He won with over 2/3rds of the vote.
During his term, Soren focused on improving the Party's tarnished reputation by networking with the leadership of the other parties, and drawing Feds into the national scene. In the early days of Soren's term, a code change disabled citizens' ability to Mass Message, bringing most recruitment efforts to a standstill. Party membership had dropped sharply prior to Soren's term, falling nearly 100 members in a manner of weeks. During Soren's term, party membership stayed at 250.
As congressional elections drew near, Soren decided that keeping INCI (then considered a possible PTO threat) out of congress was more of a priority than advancing Federalists into congress. On the night of the election, an impromptu command center was set up in his private IRC office. His efforts, along with those of Pheno Sony, Justin Mcravok, Cerb, and Ziria, kept the majority of congressional seats in American hands. The Federalists received national recognition for their leadership in that election.
In July 2011 he successfully got his second term as party president.
Before he died (Summer 2012) he served in Conservative People's Party as their advisor and Chief of Staff.
Military
Soren applied for the TC within a week of being born. However, through some misunderstanding, Soren's application was turned down. (Easy Company) approached Soren, and he joined on day 987. Since EZC is the Federalist militia, Soren joined the Feds shortly thereafter.
Soren engrossed himself in Easy Company. He served in that capacity for some time. Within several weeks he was promoted to Quarter Master General.
He wasn't QMG for long, however. The CO, Talio Extremist, left the militia, promoting havocpwn to the position. Havoc promoted Soren to XO. As havocpwn struggled to find enough time to devote to EZC, the current Fed PP, Melissa Rose, removed him as CO. Soren became CO in late November, 2010. Soren was CO for the next 3 months.
In late December of that year, MitchRapp, the former CO of EZC returned to eRepublik from a 6 month hiatus. MithRapp and Soren quickly became best friends, and ran the militia together, with the help of twisted-pixel, Talio Extremist, and havocpwn. In January, MitchRapp ran with Angelini for Party President, and MitchRapp became the VPP. Soren continued to serve as CO of EZC during this time.
In the week before the February PP elections, Soren resigned from his position as CO, and ran for Party president of the Feds.
