Iain Keers is a former multiple term President and alliance leader associated with the United Kingdom
Domestic Politics
Iain is closely associated with The Unity Party in the UK, having served as Party President six times. He has been elected thirteen times to congress and twice as President. He has served over three cumulative years in cabinet as a Minister, and spent most his life as an advisor to the UK President.
International Politics
Iain Keers began alliance politics in ATLANTIS days, later became commander of the PEACEKeepers when the UK joined PEACE GC and later was a founding member of Phoenix. He served as Treasurer of Phoenix for almost it's whole life, and was Secretary General twice. He has been a leading figure in both ONE and TWO and has served as Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General in both alliances.
Military
Iain was once one of the UK's strongest fighters but removed all training grounds and stopped training during 2012 in protest to the admins introducing steadily more gold-intensive training in an attempt to extort RL money from players. He did not fight at all for an entire year, after which he only fights on rare occasions.
Economics
Iain is first and foremost a businessman and has extensive dealings in all aspects of the - very limited - eRepublik economy. He has over 250 companies. His current net worth - which fluctuates depending on exchange rate - is around five million currency [as of mid-2013]. This is an increase of approximately 1.3m since the last major spend during the 2012 Presidency.
Journalism
Iain is the owner of the Economist Newspaper, which currently has just under five thousand subscriptions.
