Early Life

StygianSteel was born in the New World on day 451 in Connecticut, USA. His initial interest in joining this game was it's political aspect as he had previously played a number of other political simulation games. Upon reaching the required level, StygianSteel joined the United States Green Party based on his real life political leanings and environmentalism. In the party he briefly served as Vice Party president until then Party president Jamarcus left and he followed. Realizing that real life politics and eRepublik politics are not the same, he investigated other options and came to choose the United Independents Party. During this time StygianSteel also founded the company Eagles Lumber which remains active to this day.

United Independents Party

Upon joining the United Independents Party, StygianSteel quickly ran for Congress and won the Congressional seat in New Hampshire. Two more consecutive terms would follow this. StygianSteel also quickly became involved in the party's leadership ranks as his work ethic and effort earned him the position of Internal Communications Coordinator. StygianSteel was one of the founding members of this team and helped to establish it along with the current party leadership. After a month he moved to establish a new team as Recruiting Coordinator. Following another month in this new role, he was chosen by Joshua Hoss as his Vice Party president. When Joshua Hoss completed his term, StygianSteel then ran a successful campaign to become the next Party president of the United Independents Party. One more term followed this before he decided to step down of his own accord citing the need for a semi-vacation from eRepublik as the game had been taking up a lot of his time.

Military Days & Israel

Upon leaving the position of Party president, StygianSteel, enlisted and served with the United States Airborne in the 82nd division, 3rd platoon. After a term of service, he decided to make a move to Israel and help his friend and former United Independents Party colleague Joshua Hoss with his efforts in the IDF. Rising through the ranks, StygianSteel attained the rank of General and led the IDF forces for a time.

Death & Rebirth

Feeling burnt out on the game and deciding to focus on RL, StygianSteel slipped into eDeath for a time and has recently been reborn to the New World. As of Day 1,169 StygianSteel is once again alive and has returned to the USA as well as the United Independents Party.
