I added back Turkey in the MPP section. The MPP hasn't been signed but it will be because they signed the PEACE Alliance Contract. I instead put the date as "awaiting signature". --QJ Lincoln 15:27, 23 September 2008 (BST)

Germany-Austria

Okay, this is a large edit and if the admins don't like it, it can be changed back, but I am going to redirect the Germany and Austria wiki pages to the Germany-Austria page and just preserve what has been written by not deleting it. --Mark Wahlberg 22:42, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

1) There is no such thing, country, state or province as "Germany-Austria"
2) There is a Germany with 6 occupied Austrian states
3) There is Austria (only one state after Germany withdrew)
4) There is Hungary which holds 1 Austrian State
I suggest we stick to the actual in game names, or have page labeled "Fictional" ----Hrvat User_talk:Hrvat 10:57, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Austria still exists in the game, and should NOT be removed from Wiki. After all, we kept Germany info on Wiki even though Germany was part of Sweden for months. No Country should be removed from Wiki just because it was assimilated, in a friendly way or otherwise, by another nation. After all, resistance button is always available to begin a new, free Austria. ----Hrvat User_talk:Hrvat 11:11, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
I didn't see this, but I posted on Talk:Germany-Austria#Redirects. I agree that the page should be kept, but Germany-Austria should hold most of the infomation on parties, geography etc, i.e. current infomation. This should be for historical infomation.--Martin23230 12:16, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

History of Austria

This is a badly needed Chapter in Austria's Wiki page. However I have a number of problems with it as it stands.

  • "Nejcman" is player that had stolen the Austria's Treasury - according to 'History'

-but there is no proof -there is no such player in Erepublik, and no proof provided... actually there is no proof on anything (I do not say it is not true, it just that there is no evidence to support any claims)

  • There are some three months missing, while Mettalon was inactive (easily added later, of course)
  • can't help but to feel that it is more of a propaganda article, than the actual History of Austria - but that could be just me.----Hrvat CroatiaUser_talk:Hrvat 01:28, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
It is biased but generally true. It was Azoo Lazzo that stole money for the treasury for "start up funds" for Serbia. I don't know if the money was ever given back per contract due to the Austria-Germany debacle. --QJ Lincoln Talk To Me 03:40, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
That should be in the missing 3 months.
Serbs have fulfilled their part of contract (I have screenshots of actual theft by Serbs and return of 20 Gold to Bank of Austria - after Serbia received its treasury). Unfortunately, Mr President Chicco has handed over all the money to German Bank, every single coin and every single currency that was in the bank, before returning empty Bank to Austria.
I am not sure who has control of Delta Group of companies (Delta Agrar Q2 Grain and Q4 Food company), they were handed over by Serbs to Austria (Chicco, Hrvat and QJ), instead of money they stole (as per contract).
Serbs have also kept over 15000ATS, with which they caused a havoc on Austrian Money Market (they most likely still have plenty ATS - it was not worth exchanging for Gold).----Hrvat CroatiaUser_talk:Hrvat 07:13, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
History of Austria is written subjectively and needs to be neutral. User:Karantanec
Agreed, however, it is very difficult (for an Austrian citizen) to be neutral, when group after group raids nations treasury. Just about every president of Austria has used (stole) countries treasury for its own purposes: Slovenian President, Danny, Azoo Lazzo, Chicco..., only Mappina and Aanok have managed to preserve it.
I am not trying to start a Wiki war here. Some links/proof would be very beneficial.
And 'History of Austria' as it now stands was actually written as a Newspaper Article in Austria and simply copy/pasted into Wiki as a 'History'
Karantanec, you were in Austria during Slovenian reign, your historical version of that period would be of real help. I am fairly well aware of post-Mappina era in Austria, especially from Serbian arrival until their departure.
Austria had a very eventful history, but there is no record of it, which is a pity. ----Hrvat CroatiaUser_talk:Hrvat 02:09, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Contents?

I tried to sort out the maps by putting them in a border to the right side of the page, however, now, the contents box does not show. Could any big cheese on the Wiki direct me on how to fix this please? --Citizen596922.jpg malta_1990 Icon-Malta.png Icon-UK.png 07:53, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

...there was a reason why that map was sitting at the top of page... it was filling an empty space.
TOC is back now. I'll have a look at it when I have more time. ----Hrvat User_talk:Hrvat 08:05, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

I've managed to fix it by adding tons of < br > tags as a stop gap measure--Citizen596922.jpg malta_1990 Icon-Malta.png Icon-UK.png 08:18, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Update

Amazing job Oraizan, history needs to be updated though :) Also we should work together with germany with translating articles to german. --PrinceOfAustria 06:09, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

I think the Austria page is ready to be translated into German. If you want to do it then please do. Don't translate the history section yet though, we're still working on that.
