"PEACE" doesn't translate because it's an acronym, but I've been informed that PEACE sounds like the French word for "piss" so it might help to do things like « PAIX » Communauté Internationale, thoughts?

Update a year later -- I've gone around and gotten more translations. Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian, Polish, Czech, Russian, Romanian, Indonesian, Hungarian, Greek, Hebrew, Irish, Welsh, Hindi, Norwegian, Portuguese, Chinese, German, Bulgarian, Latvian translations added.

"In mid-August, talks between the leaders of FIST and these Mediterranean nations began to form their own alliance to counteract the highly aggressive ATLANTIS. The alliance became a reality only after the publication of the Atlantis Treaty that clearly demonstrated the aggressive and exclusivist nature of the Atlantis Alliance. The original Atlantis plan was to create an alliance where small countries could be protected from imperialistic nations. But this did not happen. Atlantis became an alliance between the largest nations of the world with the intention of total world domination. This created unrest between the nations of the new world and with in the member nations of the Atlantis Alliance. But only Brazil refused to sign the treaty, as it violated the Brazilians ideals about peaceful existence within the new world. This leads Brazil to contact FIST representative Alan Gordon that immediately contacts all friendly nations. After 36 hours of intensive and continuous debate the Charter of the PEACE Global Community was created and posted on August 27, 2008, Day 281 of the New World and signed by member nations over the following few days.

That entire paragraph is an opinion piece. I'm no fan of ATLANTIS, far from it, but none of their members have stated that world domination is a goal (apart from Romania perhaps..). Brian Boru

Dissolution: November 18, 2009

Um End of an era That is the official PEACE org. The PEACE countries (what's left of them) might rally around another banner (ATLANTIS -> EDEN) but PEACE GC is over.--Martin23230 17:12, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
