If Scotland, Wales...in the game are recognized Cornwall also must be recognized --Macanckor 12:47, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, do you know what Cornwall is? Are you from Cornwall? Have you ever been there?
It is a horribly ignorant view that seems common in other countries, and especially on the internet, that all of South West England is part of some nation of Cornwall[1]. Cornwall is not equal to Scotland or Wales, they are separate countries within the UK. Cornwall is a county of England, albeit one with a more unique history.
An over large Cornwall, or even a Cornish independent movement, is a ridiculous, ignorant and frankly insulting cliché. Cornwall seems to be seen as some oppressed Celtic-speaking nation, where as in reality it is no more likely to ever declare independence than Northumberland or Kent. Even the Cornish party Mebyon Kernow campaigns for a Cornish assembly within the UK, and it only has four out of 123 members of the local government.
Whilst I agree there is a Celtic Cornish identity, which is shown in organisations such as the Celtic League [2], and I am in no way insulting any Cornish people, it is never as strong as people think.
As you are there, have a look at the map on that page [3]. Now look at the map on this page. Cornwall does not equal the entire South West of England. The population of Cornwall is 534,300, the pop. of the entire South West is 4,928,458. Only 10% of the people in the south west are in Cornwall.
Do not confuse the two again.
