Early Life

Tarazis Sati is a politician from Ireland. Born on the 25th May 2009, he has gone from a two-clicker to first a publisher of a newspaper, The Liberal Voice. Four terms as member of the Irish Dáil for the Dublin Region. Two terms as President of the largest party in Ireland; The Irish Union Party. Tarazis Sati joined the Irish Union Party as soon as he was of a high enough level to do so. From the beginning it was clear that he wished to become a member of the Dáil (Irish Congress). His first run was in May 2009 but was not selected as an official Candidate, and campaigned on getting others elected to the Dáil for the IUP.

Election to the Dáil

July 2009

His first run at a seat was in the Dublin Region. A Region which returns six members of the Dáil. On voting for him self he found that he was leading in votes ending on ten in total. Topping the pol in Dublin and coming joint first with Jerek White of the Irish Radical Party for total number of votes in the country as a whole.

Manifesto:

Why I'm running for Congress in the Dublin Region

In politics the most important question that can be asked of any potential candidate for public office is: why? Why do you want to be a congress-person/President etc. It can lead to verbal diarrhoea and can sink a campaign or make a candidacy. So I'm going to try and explain why I am running and what I hope to achieve if I am elected to congress and not sink my campaign in the process.

In RL I'm studying International Politics, this is what attracted me to this game in the first place, to see what kind of political structure people would build if given the chance to do so from the beginning. It is remarkable how people in a lot of ways recreate the world that they understand. I know that you don't see this but I'm having a big geek out session with it. But one thing is true, I like playing this game and I feel that I know enough at this point to stand up and offer my services at a congressman for the Dublin region.

Being relatively new I fully accept that I don't know all of the nuances of this world and so I will make this promise, that If I don't know what I'm talking about I will tell you I don't know and look for help from my fellow citizens and congresspersons. I will also work towards getting the IUP manifesto implemented. I will also publish how I vote on each issue so that people, that you the voter will be able to see where I finally stand on each issue.

Economy.

I believe that we should work to help create production pf materiel here at home, so i would recommend two things. 1.the creation of a national investment bank, this bank can invest in business here at home and help those who have an idea and the drive to start a business. 2.That the import tax on materials be reduced, protectionism doesn't work. We can support local industry through subsidies either in the stock that they have to purchase or in the products they sell. This is a win-win situation for consumers as it will reduce the cost of living.

Defense.

As many of you already know I disagree with our present governments policy of neutrality. I believe that we should choose to stand up and be counted with our friends.

But because that this present policy isn't going to be changed any time soon. I propose that our government contacts other nations who have chosen to stand apart and remain neutral and form an alliance of pure defense.

The treaty can be simple, It should recognize the territorial integrity of all member states. That an attack on one member state is an attack on all and that all will respond to defend the member attack. That this treaty is valid only for the duration of this present war between PEACE and the eUSA & eCanada.

Health

I thing that the national gifting program should be continued. But I think that efforts should be made to help citizens increase the quality of those things which help increase health like housing. I've no definite proposal on this but I think that we could look at this instead of just gifting wellness.

Now I don't think that ever new player should get a house or help buying one, but say for example everyone over level 8 should be able to get 25% of the cost form the state if they have 75% of the cost of a Q1 house.

Now I know that all of my proposal are uncosted but I think that they are points which are worth looking into.

Well I think that I have taken up enough of you time, I would appreciate it if you would vote up this article. And even if I haven't persuaded you to vote for me on election day, I do urge to to vote. It is one of the most important action you can do here in the eWorld.

August 2009

In running for re-election to the Dáil that Tarazis Sati learned a very valuable lesson. Believing that he would be returned easily he concentrated more on what would be his agenda within the next Dáil and less on the election it self. His vote dropped by more than 40% and only gained a seat as a wildcard.

Manifesto:

Running for Re-Election in the Dublin for the IUP

"Democracy, good governance and modernity cannot be imported or imposed from outside a country"

Emile Lahud

Fir agus Mná na hÉireann, druid isteach chugam agus éist go cúramach. (Men and Women of Ireland, draw near and give me your attention)

I hereby give notice of my intention to seek re-election to the Dublin Region for the Irish Union Party.

It has been an exciting month for me to serve as your congressman and I hope that I have served you well. I still find it hard to believe the level of support you chose to place in my at the last election and I wish once more to thank you for the trust you placed in me. But I have not finished my work and so I once more place my self before you for your judgment.

My Term:

As you have seen I have been very active here and in the Dáil. I have discussed and brought to your attention things which I feel should be changed in our country. There is a way of doing politics in eIreland which removed you the voter from the process of having input, besides voting twice a month, into the direction of where we are going as a country. This extends to the people which you the citizen express your political voice through the election of congressman.

There have been points during the last cycle where I have felt helpless as decisions are put before Congress without having the details of the proposals debated by your elected representatives. This is disrespectful of the institution of Congress and the decision of you the People of Ireland. I am not going to go back into this argument as they have been discussed clearly in other articles I've written.

My Legislative Agenda for the next Term.

During my next term I am proposing a law: Ethics in Government. A law which will, I hope, set out the responsibilities and methods which decisions and actions are taken by members of government and Congress.

I will start a public discussion to get your views on the proposals and then debate the law in the Public Dáil before bring it to a vote.

I will also propose a law on Ethics in International Relations. As the world coalesces into what ever shape it is heading for, we need to set out the principles and methods with which the Government of Ireland conducts this countries relations with other nations.

It isn't my intention to hamper or restrict the functioning of Government but I think that what is needed is that the basic rules and principles of good governance need to be enshrined in law.

I will of course continue to vote and debate all laws presented to Congress.

Military

If the war is truly over, then we need to ensure that our military is in tip top condition. We need to ensure that the structure of the military need to be reformed. As I am not an expert on what would be the best structure for the Military I would call on the debate to take place and the appropriate law to be introduced into Congress.

I think also that the defense structures of all regions should at least be of level 2, but this should be based on financial viability and military considerations.

Economic Policy.

We need to deal with the economy. I am confident that Patton's proposal for Financial Transparency in Government, will help in understanding the income and expenditure of our country.

I also believe that there should be a Governmental Rainy Day savings account. I feel that we should be holding funds left over at the end of each financial cycle for unforeseen events and circumstances.

Wellness.

I believe that if it is financially possible that the hospitals in eIreland be upgraded to at least Q2 as a base.

I hope that I can count on you support and urge you to use your vote wisely in electing as many IUP candidates as possible. Please know that I am always ready to hear your suggestions and comments. I am your congressman and with your help I can be you voice once more in the Dáil.

September 2009

Running for election in September was the first election that Tarazis Sati ran for the Dáil as President of the Irish Union Party. in this election the IUP became, once more, the largest party in the Dáil returning twelve Congressmen.

Manifesto:

Running for Congress, myself and the IUP

I never thought that I would be in the position of running for a third term in the Dàil and running as the president of the largest party in eIreland.

It has been quite a ride and I have gained some amazing experiences and friends.

To let you know what I have been up to this Congressional Term: I have introduced and it has been accepted by the Dàil an amendment to the constitution reorganising the Supreme Court. This organization will become more important as the country grows and prospers. Ethics in Government Act, This has been a very tightly fought debate. But it is now in place as the governing document of how members of the government discharge there duties and how they are responsible to you the voter.

I have taken part in all of the major discussions, both nationally and internationally and have voted on all most all bills places before the Dail for its discussion (off sight) and all bills placed before the Dàil in-game.

I support President Patton and his administration, I think that I can say without any form of spin that this has been the most active government we have seen in a long time, certainly in my elife time.

I would like to also tell you about the team which we have assembled in the IUP. We are not satisfied with just being the largest party in eIreland. We want to be the party of inclusion, of ideas and of government. It is my belief that the IUP has the talent and the drive to be without a shadow of a doubt the natural party of government in eIreland. the IUP is a large church, with many different voices, many different views and all of them are cherished. We like the individual, we like discussion and we embrace change.

I would hope that this Friday you not only vote for myself but for the IUP team, a true mixture of new and old members, of new ideas and a respect for the traditions and values of this great nation on ours.

October 2009

Re-running for the Dáil, Tarazis Sati encountered several problems in RL so was unable to give as much time to his duties as he would have wished to, including producing a manifesto. Internet problems on election day prevented him from taking a full and active part in the election. The IUP made some losses in the Dublin Region but made gains in the Northeast balancing out so that the party remained on twelve members of the Dáil, equal to the number of congresspersons of the Irish Freedom Party.
