Prologue
Th1ngy joined eRepublik thanks to Ionwind's proposal (unfortunately not via the referral link) on November 30th, 2009. The first days he spent furiously examining the game mechanics and the meaning of eLife in Finland. Th1ngy joined the Finnish military forces and applied for HTJ on December 14th, immediately after reaching the required strength level of 4. War module and army activities kept this newborn interested in the game and even encouraged him on advertising it to friends and family.
Inspired by his studies abroad and determined to get more involved in the game, Th1ngy decided to apply for the position offered by the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Finnish Consul to Czech Republic on February 8th, 2010. Writing weekly reports about the life in eCzech for the Finnish state press Valtion Sanomat was a fascinating task although Czech Republic did not offer major drama at that time. After 12 reports Th1ngy decided to resign from the promoted position of the Finnish Ambassador to Czech Republic on May 10th, 2010.
In May 2010 Th1ngy advanced in the army and joined NTJ. The strength requirement of 12 was reached with the brief assistance of the Napoleon training booster. At that time he also served as a Squad Leader for Jaeger Company in HTJ.

Golden age
In V2 Th1ngy chose to migrate his economy and military skills to technician (100%) and tank (100%). Following his patriotic ideology Th1ngy joined the reformed Finnish Army called NGD. Military statistics concerning this glorious era can be found from Maxihellas. Among the Finnish fighters in V2, Th1ngy ranked #8 in total damage and achieved his first Battle Hero medal in some random war in Svalbard & Jan Mayen, Norway.
Back to Reality
Before the infamous Military Skill migration on Day 1,082 Th1ngy focused on spending his savings on gaining rank. This resulted in significant poverty in a series of battles against Estonia, some 340,000 rank points and the later deceased rank of FM***. The modified war module also encouraged him to pursue on Battle Hero Medal hunting. A number of journeys around the New World rewarded Th1ngy with five more BH medals.
Politics came into play first time when Th1ngy was elected for congress in Finland on September, 2010. This was due to a military operation in order to block a foreign candidate from the congress. However, Th1ngy decided to resign only few days after the election to continue fighting for greater cause, abroad. The second attempt for congress one month later was more considered (October, 2010) and also successful.
Epilogue
Th1ngy celebrated his very first eBirthday on Day 1,106 and is taking a break from military duties.
Updates after two whole years!
Only few weeks prior to the baby boom of Finland in October 2011, Th1ngy decided to apply for American citizenship for better bonuses and just for a change of scenery. Slowly going trough the bootcamp and starting with Delta Force Th1ngy worked his way to Ultramarines and eventually he made it to the prestigious Special Forces on May 2012. Since that time Th1ngy has produced a steady flow of PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE in pursuit of military attributes (God of War on Day 1758, 25k strength on Day 1811).
Returning home
On Day 1906 (February 7th, 2013) after spending over a year abroad Th1ngy returned to Finland to join the recently emerged mercenary military unit called Mossad. The latest profile statistics from Day 1911 can be found here .
