The Fieldist News Magazine is an American newspaper, popular in both the USA and Germany-Austria. It generally places a humorous and hyper-patriotic spin on world and national news, as well as often recommending an outrageous course of action. It is generally well-liked by those who get it, and those who don't often take extreme offense.
Conception as Insight to Riot
Unknown to many The Fieldist was originally a serious rag known as Insight to Riot. IR took a hyper-American tone as well conservative stance when it came to taxes on consumers, but very much for war caused by the USA. It attracted little attention. This is generally regarded as the "noob" period of the newspaper.
The Change
Wystan shifted tack with a change into The Fieldist a magazine that served to raise concerns about extreme danger. In the initial article, an attempted takeover by a Romanian group known as the Iron Guard, a plan by Congress to raise to 100% taxes, and an American invasion of Mexico labeled Operation Taco Bell were described.
