Turkish occupation of Iran is one of the main war theatres of World War VII. It began when Turkey launched an attack on Iran, following its dismissal of Lithuania from Thai regions and it resulted in several weeks long occupation of Iran. Turkey was aided by Argentina and Hungary initially, and later by Chile, Cyprus and South Korea. Iran had assistance of Asteria, as well as Poland, Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and Spain.
During the third week of occupation, Romania and Serbia tried to invade Turkey but with no success, due to new region-swapping tactics employed by anti-Asteria. During fourth week of occupation, Asteria's forces have managed to enter both Turkish and Iranian core regions.

Operation Khorasan
Having a training war with Malaysia, Iran shared border with Thailand. Following initial success of Turkey against Lithuania, Iran declared war to Lithuania[1] in an attempt to block Turkey and conquered Southern Thailand. Turkey responded with a natural enemy law[2] and Iran did the same[3]. Turkey easily removed Iran from East Asia. The two countries also share border between their core regions, which meant that the war resumed by Turkish invasion of Iran[4].

In attempt to help Iran, Poland entered its regions from Pakistan (with whom it had a training war), while Spain entered directly via airstrike. After conquering Iran, once again Turkey defeated Poland as well[5]. Having an active training war with Argentina, Turkey gave it three of its northern regions[6], thus preventing direct entry of any potential invader into Turkish cores and allowing Argentina to attack Poland[7]. Mazandaran and Golistan was kept by Russia, with whom Iran previously had a training war, while Kerman Province and Yazd were in Spanish hands.

After completing battles against Iran and Poland, Turkey declared war to Pakistan[8] to prevent easy landing of any country, while Argentina and Spain proposed each other as a natural enemy[9][10], and Argentina easily managed to overcome Spain.

Bulgaria vs Turkey
Trying to help Iran and due to real life reasons as well, Bulgaria declared war to Turkey[11]. The law passed with a narrow majority in congress (17–15). Bulgaria launched the attack two rounds into attack on Hungary. Resistance war was started in USA at the same time, effectively dispersing Bulgarian damage on three fronts. Turkey repelled the attack and invaded Bulgaria instead[12], along with battling Poland and keeping Iran conquered at the same time. It conquered Burgas, but due to queuing for attack on Varna, which was already under attack by Romania as a part of the two countries' training war, the attack was delayed. Bulgaria managed to liberate Burgas and successfully defended Varna the next day, gaining the initiative once again.

Asteria's first attack on Turkey
Asteria's response to Turkey's invasion of Iran (Operation Khorasan) was simultaneous attack of five countries: Serbia[13], Portugal[14], Lithuania[15] and Slovenia[16]; as well as aforementioned Bulgarian attack on Turkey-held region of Macedonia. The latter three proposed airstrikes, while Serbia used a declaration of war from Plovdiv. Turkey managed to defend against all three airstrikes and a resistance of Iran, while ignoring battles against Bulgaria and Serbia, whose further advance was stopped by Chile and Hungary taking regions that neighbour Marmara.

At the same time, Albania airstriked Lithuania[17] and USA airstriked Slovenia[18]. The first one was a closely contested battle for Lithuanian Highland, which Lithuania managed to defend; while Slovenia had no major issue dealing with the American AS.

Two days later, a resistance was started in Marmara, which Serbia didn't defend, choosing to focus on its battles against Croatia and Greece.
Heaven's Legion arrives
At the same time as SPoland's intervention, a military coup took place in Iran[19]. As soon as Argentina attacked Spain, Iran started a resistance war in Argentina-occupied Semnan and liberated it. Argentina declared war to Iran[20] to which Iran replied with a natural enemy law[21]. Turkey also declared Iran as a natural enemy[22].
Hungary had previously landed in Georgia[23] for training wars with Turkey and Argentina. They used their presence in the region to move into Iranian cores and propose it as a natural enemy[24] as soon as Semnan was liberated. Iranian dictator was 15 seconds faster and managed to declare war to Hungary first[25]. Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) joined the fight, by airstriking Hungary[26]. Hungary did not provide much resistance to either country, instead Iran was re-conquered by Argentina and Turkey, while Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) kept fighting against Hungary[27] and also declared war to Argentina[28].

Following Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)'s success against Hungary and Argentina and after stopping Asteria's attack, Turkey declared Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) as a natural enemy[29]. Turkey took over Fars and Yazd from Hungary and Argentina respectively, stopping Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)'s further advances. Iran has proposed Turkey as a natural enemy[30]; Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)[31] did the same later during the day in addition to declaring war to Iran[32].
Iran attacked Turkey in Semnan, while Turkey attacked Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) in Northwestern Iran. The latter would break the record for highest damage in a round set by Croatia vs Serbia a few days earlier, with 2.96 trillion damage done in division 4 battle of round 2. Despite Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) emerging victorious in the record round, Turkey won the battle and removed Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) from Iran. At the same time, Turkey defeated Iran in both direct war and resistance war. Within two days, Iran was occupied by Turkey.

RoSe attempt to invade Turkey
The day after Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) was removed from Iran, Serbia proposed Turkey as a natural enemy[33]. The two countries shared a common border between Rajasthan (Serbia held region in India) and Punjab (Turkey held region in Pakistan). The border was dropped with Turkish release of Punjab, but the law voting didn't stop; by the time the voting was finished, common border was recreated between Umm al Quwain, Serbia and Hormozgan, Turkey. Thanks to an active training war between Turkey and South Korea, the latter used its position in South Arabia to take over Hormozgan and close the war.
United Arab Emirates then attacked South Korea in Eastern Province and due to an open training war between them, and Serbia followed. With the Turkey–Serbia border reopened in Pakistan–India, Turkey proposed DoW[34] to Serbia to which Serbia replied with a NE declaration[35]. Saudi Arabia also proposed Serbia as an NE[36]. Serbia declared war to South Korea[37] in order to get into Iranian cores, while also moving through Bulgarian regions to get border with Turkish cores. Turkey had the initiative against Serbia; it used this to attack in the last possible moment, which gave it enough time to cut border with Serbia and Romania on all fronts: Croatia took Marmara[38], Hungary took Black Sea Coast of Turkey, Saudi Arabia regained Northern Borders through resistance, Pakistan regained Punjab through resistance and Argentina started to move through Iranian regions.
Along with Serbia, Romania also proposed Turkey as an NE [39]. After Hungary cut the common border between Romania's and Turkey's cores, Romania used its presence in North Korea (achieved two weeks earlier) to declare war to Turkey[40], while Turkey declared Romania as an NE[41]. After Turkey and Serbia got a border in Pakistan once again, a new set of laws followed[42][43]. Turkey managed to stop Romanian attack, while border with Serbia was cut due to releasing bordering regions.
At this point of war, the region swapping tactics was being used by anti-Asteria in full force, which meant that Turkey was almost unaccessible and the war tempo was severely slowed. In an attempt to work around it, Serbia proposed an airstrike to Turkey[44]. Turkey's allies Croatia, Chile and Hungary used the 24 hours law voting time to take over Turkish core regions, forcing Serbia to land in Abkhazia and not allowing it further advance into Turkish cores.
