Today after working I have the option to work overtime for an additional 400 currency because of the house I bought yesterday:

You’ll also notice the game gave me some free companies to work in. Do not work in them.

The “grain farms” are extremely poor companies and actually produce food raw material at a rate more expensive than the market. The food company similarly won’t save you any money. If market conditions change drastically, then we can look at this, but this is very unlikely. As these companies are given free to all players, there is massive overproduction, resulting in most products being sold at negligible profit; indeed in most cases at a loss.

Because it is day 5, after training I get an extra bonus, 5 strength for completing my daily tasks. Right now the main priority is to get to 50 strength to unlock most of the game features.

You will notice that we have been gaining a lot of experience points from fighting and levelling a lot. Experience points don’t give you any benefits (other than a small amount of gold for levelling up). However the amount you have does determine what “division” you fight in. Originally the game designers split battles into “divisions” so that players would mostly be fighting with people of a similar age and strength. However players quickly “gamed” this feature by keeping their XP as low as possible and increasing their strength. It is now actually possible to buy (with real world money) a “pack” which prevents you from gaining XP. This shows how seriously some people take this. For you as a new player, focus on building strength and don’t worry too much about XP. The main goals of fighting, are to farm gold, or help your country win: neither of these options are really available to new players - so fight for fun, but don’t spend any money, gold or energy bars doing so.
