Beliefs

USDP isn’t a military party. It is a defense party. A member had not to be involved in the military to be in this party. The only condition is that a member had a strong set of beliefs that were common to the party beliefs:

  1. Stable Democracy: USDP supported free, fair and open elections for Congress, Party Presidency and Country President. Active and clean competition boosts activity, entertainment and fun. eRepublik is a game, it needs to be played.
  2. Soldiers in Congress: USDP supported soldiers getting into Congress. In fact, USDP primary target was to select congress candidates from the US Military. USDP goal was to have a qualified candidate in every state.
  3. Competitive Economics: USDP supported the consistent monitoring of our economy and its growth and health by studying the effects the new changes will have on the economy and working to build a tax plan and government involvement based on maintaining ourselves as a national power.
  4. Civilian-Military Cooperation: Some of UDSP leaders were civilians, some were members of EZC. As a civilian, you are just as important to this country as a soldier through paying of taxes, fighting in the battles as directed by the Department of Defense, and involvement in the political realm.

History

Logo of short-lived party - Fraternal Brotherhood of Defense
Founding members of the USDP were Joshua Hoss, John Jay, Sir Valaro Volcrum, Dennis McVicker, loftedraptor, and Zack Mack. Joshua served as Chief of Staff for the USDP's first month, helping the party grow from under 30 members to over 100 and gain 4 Congressional seats.

At the beginning of April 2011, USDP under leadership of Sir Valaro Volcrum merged with The Fraternity Party, lead by Joseph Dinero and the new name of the party become Fraternal Brotherhood of Defense (FBoD) with its own military unit The Fraternity Shock Troops (FST)[1]. However, FBoD was short-lived and in the same month it transitioned to American Military Party.
