About languages

Hi!

I have some doubts about the language policy of the wiki. I understand that the main language is English and every page must have an English version. But when it comes to very local subjects (such as a political party of a certain country) there is a lot of material that could be added but it could take a really long time to translate it (and no one from outside that country would read it anyway).

So my question is, would it be acceptable to have a small summary as the English page and then a more complete version in the local language? Or must they be a exact translation?

Dear eclank, it is enough to have a small summary. Usually 3 paragraphs of summary are enough, we understand that exact translation of party, newspaper and citizen articles are hard. Party page <-> wiki hotlinking

Hi there Andy. I was writing my party's wiki page and noticed it didn't get hotlinked in my party's little book. I did the same before to my profile and it worked. Is there some extra step I must do? @Napoleon Tibi: Sorry for the slow answer, there is no lodge template. Will think if there is some template you can use, however only {{Organization}} comes to my mind. Creating template is a bit complicated to explain, however it is basically playing in your sandbox by copying one template and adapting it. Also, a note - don't forget to sign yourself when posting in the talk pages... Simply just add this --~~~~ at the end of your last sentence. I have signed your previous comment.
