Politics
Valorum has served extensively in Parliament, holding the position of congress member 11 times throughout his life. He works in the Ministry of Legislative Affairs for the UK government.
First Valorum joined the Radical Freethinkers Alliance (RFA). The RFA at the time was full of many good people but being in the middle of the political spectrum they were indecisive when it mattered.
After leaving the RFA Valorum joined the Free Democratic Party (FDP) led at the time by Arthur Wellesley. The FDP was truly the first party he felt welcome and part of a good group of people. Sadly, due to a decline in membership and a long time clinging to life it finally disbanded. After the disbandment of the FDP he started looking for a new party to call home.
After some persuasion from a good friend he joined the People's Communist Party (PCP). PCP had and still has some great people but he didn't really agree with their ideology and quickly become disagreeing with many of their policies.
Next he joined the United Kingdom Reform Party (UKRP) due to the persuasion of some ex-FDP members who joined them. UKRP was just bad in his opinion. UKRP preached equal opportunity and all but quickly found it to be a party run by the old members - for the old members. When elections come around you can be quickly pushed aside for one of the "old guard". He left this party due to the hostile feeling it produced towards newer members.
