One month ago was the first 10..... if there is just 5 people going to get the reward.... i think my work is useless here. I use to translate to spanish and update a few pages for 4 month now, and i get to the top 10 twice....but get into the top five, is for people that can actually dedicate hours to this job, and even if i dedicate 30 minutes each day, i have no chance to get to the top five. Good luck for all the rest.

:Sadly, it's been limited to top 5 so the sysops wouldn't have to go through all the hassle of determining "spam edits" and dealing with the mess. Hopefully and possibly it'll return to 15 soon. --<span style=" color:white; text-shadow:red 0.0em 0.01em 0.1em; font-family: Georgia;">Code-Y</span> Talk/Projects 21:24, 19 August 2012 (PDT)

I just got a random idea right now. I do not understand why the rewards are not bigger, and why not gold? There are a lot of good editors in this wiki. They have done a lot of hard work. Other people who used to be active here have done hard work. Everyone has worked hard. There are not that many people who are active in building this wiki, and very less who built the "pillars" of this wiki. So why not keep them? Why not encourage them to do harder work? Why not just thank them?

Companies who have these kind of systems, like their own FAQ or information page often pay someone who do it for them. Here is free information, and it's not all that bad! (Of course, it can become much better if this wiki gets more rules and structure, sometimes it's chaos, like the game)

I got this idea when I saw in the bar how fast the editors made the wiki "update friendly". --Aryamehr Flag of Iran talk 15:10, 15 May 2011 (PDT)

Only the first five??

Hi, i just realize that for this month the rules for contribution to the wiki had been cut in half. Now it says: "Therefore, on 1st day of a month, a Sysop will publish a list of the 5 (five) top contributors (for the past month)" One month ago was the first 10..... if there is just 5 people going to get the reward.... i think my work is useless here. I use to translate to spanish and update a few pages for 4 month now, and i get to the top 10 twice....but get into the top five, is for people that can actually dedicate hours to this job, and even if i dedicate 30 minutes each day, i have no chance to get to the top five. Good luck for all the rest.

Sadly, it's been limited to top 5 so the sysops wouldn't have to go through all the hassle of determining "spam edits" and dealing with the mess. Hopefully and possibly it'll return to 15 soon. --Icon-Canada.pngCode-Y Talk/Projects 21:24, 19 August 2012 (PDT)
