Baldrick1, formerly known as Matt Smidley, was born in the United Kingdom, Day 611 (July 23, 2009) of the New World.
Military Service
Matt decided to follow a military path early in his Life. When he joined, World War III was in full swing and he was encouraged to join the armed forces. Although originally planning to join the Royal Guard he decided to join the Royal Navy because he liked the uniforms. Through looking for further information on the two branches, he was introduced to the eUK Official forums.
After deciding to follow a military career path Matt Smidley joined the Royal Navy, the United Kingdom's primary fighting force, early on in his life. He was assigned to the HMS thehorseltd, the ship he would spend the majority of his career aboard.
Matt Smidley was promoted to the rank of Marine in the Royal Navy on Day 763.
Matt Smidley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant aboard the HMS thehorseltd on Day 780.
The Royal Marines
Matt joined the Royal Marines on day 796, the same day of its formation. He was assigned the rank of Sergeant. However, he left the Royal Marines for the Paratroopers after its disbandment by Fezoj on the 22nd of December, 2009.
Paratroopers
Matt joined the Paratroopers shortly before the disbandment of the Royal Marines. He served in the UK special forces throughout the various reforms to it (SFSG, SAS). He eventually left the Special Air Service, and the armed forces entirely and spent several months two-clicking.
United Kingdom Special Forces
Matt rejoined the British Army and the United Kingdom Special Forces on day 1,096. It is uncertain when did he joined The Legion.
