This page contains information about a now defunct governmental organization.

The eUnited States Center of Data and Information was the official government source of keeping national information updated. It was formed in late September by then-Interior Secretary Jasper Ferguson, and it was originally directed by LifesaverM, known as the eUS InfoHub. In April, tibbets took over the position of director, hiring Deleruin as his assistant. The CDI is now defunct.

History

The Pilot Project for the InfoHub Website, as it was first titled, was created on September 28, 2009, and was officially launched October 18, 2009. The Pilot Project was turned into a full office under the Department of Education on October 3, 2009 under then-Interior Secretary Jasper Ferguson. As the founder of the project LifesaverM was named Development Director of the DoE Program. The former government position of Wiki Director was migrated into this new program on October 7, 2009.

The program worked alongside the DoE for four months, continuing to act in its developmental phase under LifesaverM. However, the project began to fall into disarray in February 2010 (around the same time LifesaverM became president of the Libertarian Party).

Seeing the dysfunctional state of the project, tibbets applied for the position of director, and was accepted by then-President Woxan to replace LifesaverM, who by this time had become fairly inactive. He handed over administration of the InfoHub website, by then pretty bare and rarely updated. tibbets felt the website was also compromising in terms of being simple enough for new citizens to explore. He decided to move the project to a different, more accessible website.
