Early years
Dimitrios was born in Heraklion, Crete. He belonged to a younger branch of a family of Venician colonists. His education took part on the Public School "Adamantios Korais", while he concluded his studies on social sciences on the University of Bonn. At the age of twenty-two, he participated on the "Ellinika Nea" newspaper, until he achieved the status of Editor-in-chief. He founded the Panhellenic Socialist Movement in July 2008, and changed its name to Elliniki Enotita (ELEN) in July 31. He was elected Congressman in the August elections, but soon, the country was overrun by Turks.
Revival, November 2009
After a long, comatose state, Dimitrios was revived in Lamia in November 2009. Still confounded, decided to move to Epirus and claim a new life. After a short trip to the bank, he found out that the days of great Recession due to the Capelli King administration, had long passed, and with no more money to buy a loaf of bread there, he was now well-held.
While in Ioannina, he connected with Enosi Dimokratikis Aristeras partisans. As he was a strong supporter of left ideas, since his early days, little persuasion did he need, to join the ranks of the party. He fought at the Thrace border in the Turk invasion on the 26th of November, without serious damage. He was appointed International Speaker of EDA in the 27th.
Greek - Turkish War, December 2009
Dimitrios fought in the Tel Aviv resistance war. In December 7th, he declared his interest of running for the Presidency of Enosi Dimokratikis Aristeras, proposing a new constitution for the Party. He participated on behalf of John The Greek in the first Part Presidents Comittee of eGreece, held by salonikiosss. He succeeded on achieving a consensus of the Committee, for two major EDA requests, a Greek Constitution and on replacing the Party President Committee's with the Greek Congress Council. He fought on the Greek - Turkish war that began on the 13th of December.
Dimitrios was elected the President of Enosi Dimokratikis Aristeras on the 15th of December, concentrating over 48% of the voters.
