Harald Moskon du Robespierre
Harald Moskon du Robespierre, referred to generally as Robespierrewas an South African politician and co-founder of the Pax Africana Cooperative. His death was discovered on March 6, 2009 though he is believed to have died much earlier.
Harald Moskon du Robespierre was created on August 1st, 2008 in Polokwane, South Africa. While laying claim to noble birth and ancestry from three regions (Scandinavia, Dacia and France, respectively), he is arguably the most reticent of the Pax Africana Cooperation, and his early life is largely unknown.
Born into an eSouth Africa recovering from the Second South African War (against Indonesia), Robespierre struggled along with many others to find employment -a rampant and almost uncontrollable aspect of the economy of the time. The peace treaty with Indonesia had been signed a mere five days before his birth, on July 26th, and many feared a reopening of martial hostilities, economic bullying from the new superpower, or opportunistic intervention from any number of other powers. In this national tension, Robespierre's first action was to join the army and train.
Only as peace prevailed and both unemployment and inflation began did he manage to find a trade, working at Sumah's Food Restaurant from the 7th. He would remain in the food trade for the rest of his life. As an unskilled worker, he would have expected to earn a mere 1 ZAR per day (an infinitesimally tiny sum in the days when inflation was over 20%), but instead found himself at 3 ZAR. Nonetheless, he complained, cynically, with the words "Welcome to the poorest country on the earth."
At this time the Pax Africana Cooperative was being created by Venezuelan Rastafarian Esteban Delgado, the UK socialist Leif Archaix and native socialists Deus Ex and Jizzie McGuire, who returned from forced exile in Occupied South Africa on August 10th. Robespierre was initially invited to join the PAC-owned company Bong Belly, but was forced to build up his food skill before eventually joining on August 11th.
Bong Belly has gone onto reducing prices in the food sector, bringing Q2 food -controversially- below 1 ZAR. During Tomislav's 'Danger of The Bong Belly Situation' article of August 21st, Robespierre wrote in defence of his company.
Robespierre is also a member of the Black Lion Front.
- Robespierre is the youngest member of the Pax Africana Cooperative.
- Robespierre is one of the only two members of PAC never to have owned a newspaper (the other being Jizzie McGuire).
