La libertad de Venezuela

La libertad de Venezuela (Eng. Venezuela Freedom) was a political party in Venezuela. It was preceded by the Bloque Obrero Venezolano, and was succeeded by La Frente de Revolucion. It had 192 members at the time.
LV was first known as Venezuela Freedom, created by new citizens of Venezuela of foreign origin. The party never had more than 10 members, and soon became inactive.
August 2009 saw many new citizens being born in Venezuela. This population boost was rapid, with Venezuela going from under 1000 people prior to August to having a population of over 1500 in early September. These new citizens struggled to find employment, as there were not enough jobs for skill 0 players. The government was struggling, so a group of citizens banded together to help these people in their time of need. These same group of people also felt that they needed a voice in government. Unable to afford their own political party, they decided on joining Venezuela Freedom, as it was inactive and not a part of the Venezuelan government. Wilkommen ran unopposed and became president of Venezuela Freedom. He brought with him changes. The party became La libertad de Venezuela, to suit the Spanish speaking nation. The party became a voice for the poor. With these changes, La libertad de Venezuela went on to become the biggest political party in Venezuela, and claimed 15 seats (later 14) in their first Congressional elections. Wilkommen also struck a deal with Lucios Nava, leader of the Primero Venezuela party, and together they lead Lucios Nava to become President of Venezuela. Unfortunately, early into his term, Lucios became a lone ranger and began to make hasty and erratic proposals. The party leaders of all Venezuelan parties combined to impeach Lucios Nava on the 16th of September. A governing board was then set up, with representatives of the big 5 Venezuelan parties to be included. Wilkommen and Ignatio Cabron were appointed to represent La libertad de Venezuela.
In October 2009, internal turmoil was about. The more traditionalist old members such as party head Wilkommen rejected the style of the new members, their political beliefs and goals. And so the party fractured, with the original members leaving to join the Unidad Nacional Party, taking elected congressional seats with them. The newer members went on to form La Frente de Revolucion.
