He is a politician, businessman, historian, and writer born during the Beta era of the game. He was born in Pennsylvania. He has also resided in Vermont, New Jersey, Florida, and California in the United States. He has spent significant time overseas in Ireland, South Africa, and India. His interests range from the political to the economic, as well as the interactions between citizens.

Politics

Views

Lowell Kennedy outlined his views by establishing The Kennedy Doctrine in the Beta era and by guiding the development of the Yellow Party platform, which focused on helping new players and concerns regarding wellness.

Presidential Politics

Lowell Kennedy was the United States Green Party candidate for the presidency in July 2009. He also received the endorsements of several other parties, including the Socialist Freedom Party. He would finish fourth in the election.

Party Politics

USWP I

He was originally a member of the USWP. He joined his first day in the game during the Beta period, becoming the 49th member of the party at that time. After his joining, the party featured tremendous growth, which allowed for a larger Congressional presence. He would eventually serve two terms as a Congressman from 1 September 2008 to 25 October 2008 representing the party. His terms as a Congressman were during the transition to V1.

Yellow Party

Lowell Kennedy was the founder and first party president of the Yellow Party. He was elected party president for three terms. He served from 16 November 2008 to 28 January 2009, when he resigned the position for personal reasons. Under his leadership, the Yellow Party grew ninefold, featured 77 members at its peak, and was the also the sixth largest party in the country at one point.

USWP II

He returned to the USWP after his tenure with the Yellow Party. He admired the articulate writings of Ananias and the USWP provided the opportunity to return to Congress. He ran three times during this period but was defeated in three consecutive elections despite consistently compiling the highest vote totals among those not elected.

Unaffiliated

Kennedy has abstained from party politics since his second stint in the USWP. He has continued to maintain his independent status.

Media

Lowell Kennedy maintains multiple newspapers. The largest newspaper that he is the press director of is The Musicman. At one point, it was among the ten largest newspapers in the United States. Today, it is still among the most subscribed papers of the United States but has been surpassed by other publications. He uses the newspaper as a platform to discuss many topics and to articulate his views on many topics. Often, they taken the form of opinion pieces and editorials. Additionally, he also allows for other players to publish articles in it.

Originally, he wrote his musings from time to time in a paper called The Compound, which had a small subscription base. The Compound ceased to exist after the introduction of V1.

Lowell Kennedy has published a few eminent articles in the media. The original publication of the 50 Most Important eAmericans was published in the The Musicman. Additionally, Kennedy has taken upon himself the goal of publishing a guide to help for new players. The guide is on its seventh edition and has grown substantially over time. Views

Lowell Kennedy advocates an eRepublik-centric view of the game's economics. He focuses on wellness, skill, and production. His views shift in accordance with the times, reflecting the fluid nature of the game and markets.

Businesses

Kennedy owns multiple businesses. His original focus in the game was on the economic aspects of eRepublik. He originally invested in a partnership that owned a gift company. After gaining some understanding of managing a company, he opened up a small moving company. Eventually, he built it up to become the largest American moving company. Realizing the differences between the Beta period and V1, he had the foresight to downsize prior to the transition, which continued the success of the moving company while many rivals went under. The success of the moving company allowed for the buyout of his gift company partners.

Military

Lowell Kennedy maintains the in-game rank of Field Marshal with over 150000 damage caused. His damage ability ranks among the top 1000 in the world.

He became a member of the United States National Guard upon joining the American military during the Beta period. He served almost exclusively as a part of the "Home Guard" during his service.

He served as a member of the private militia Seal Team 6 at the beginning of the group's operations. He has since exited the group.
