General

Nasjonalistpartiet was a political party in Norway founded around 16. March primarily by Christopher Moe, Andreas Moe and Karl Reverud. Their old party newspaper was Nasjonalisten.

You can say that Nasjonalistpartiet was a 3 man party because of the centralised power structure, all decisions were made by Christopher, Andreas and Karl. They made all the articles to promote this movement, they planned out the government and they planned the strategy.

Platform

Main Goals:

  • An efficient and organized military.
  • Limit citizenship approvals to those who deserve it.
  • High enough taxes for the state so they can start programs and fund what is needed.
  • Inform the citizens of what the nationalist government is doing

The founding members of Nasjonalistpartiet were strongly opposed to the high immigration rate Norway was having. They wanted to control who got citizenship's to prevent future PTO threats and the growing numbers of foreign political parties. This idea was a splitting point of the Norwegian people. It’s was about 50/50 turning for/against this idea, but unfortunately the congress was mainly for immigration.

The creation of this political movement was based on Christopher’s idea to fight (what he liked to call it) the compact majority of Norway. Andreas and Karl were very supportive of the idea of a strong and rich state with high national security and a new state founded army. The biggest threat against this movement were members of the compact parties that thought high taxes would destroy business owners and put people out of work. The nationalists started to gain small support from the people primly because of the bad shape Norway was in both financially and military.

History

In April 2011, the party nominated Karl Reverud as Presidential candidate, and he got 20 votes. If you think about that Nasjonalistpartiet only had 8-10 members at the time it was thought as a victory for the party, they had established themselves as a movement at this point, and the nationalists continued to grow. The party won 11 places in the Congress in April which made them one of three biggest parties in Congress.

In May 2011, they decided to support Yan Hoek for president due to a serious PTO threat, they couldn’t do this “officially” themselves because the PTOer Ghost of Stankovic Alexa had taken over their party with bots. Stankovic Alexa still managed to win the election, but thanks to admins the bot votes were removed and Yan Hoek came out victorious. The idea of cooperation between the Norwegians to support Yan Hoek was published by Christopher and Andreas and gained support from almost everyone, of course, some thought of this as an attack on democracy, but the people would still have a choice between Yan Hoek and Ghost of Stankovic Alexa, democracy would still be intact. This was just an attack on the PTO treat.

The fall of the power structure began when suddenly Karl Reverud decided to leave erepublik. It was a big loss for Nasjonalistpartiet. Andreas and Christopher found themselves overloaded with work and the activity in the party was too low to find a possible replacement for him. This would lead to the downfall for the nationalist.

When Scorpicus refounded Binary Party in May it led to splitting between Gullpartiet and Nasjonalistpartiet. BP shared NP's idea of higher taxes, and with a majority of the Congress behind the two parties taxes rose, the state's revenue rose, people still had jobs and no businesses went under. This was maybe the biggest victory for Nasjonalistpartiet. Binary Party stood in high regards of the nationalists but this also leads people to leave Nasjonalistpartiet to join BP instead.

The final blow to the party was in the May Congress elections. Christopher Moe was running for Congress for the sixth time and only received one vote. This led to his permanent departure from politics. Andreas Moe then found himself alone and soon, the party was taken over.
