Green Liberal Democrats
Pander Sols joined the Green Liberal Democrats in june 2009, just days after the party was started by Peter Green. He played an active role from the beginning and was rewarded with a seat in congress that same month. June 2009 was a good month for the GLD, as they entered congress with no less than 6 seats in total and were asked to partake in the formation of the new government. By then, GLD frontman Peter Green had seized all activity and Pander Sols and fellow party-member Trinc decided to take over the managing of the party. In July 2009, Pander Sols ran for party-president. He managed to win the elections against fellow GLD'er Jan Appel, but resigned only one week later because of a complete lack of activity in the party and his inability to turn this around.
Early august 2009, activity increased rapidly and he decided to return to his function as party-president. Together with a number of prominent GLD-members, the GLD HQ was created, as well as the newspaper GLD Informer. Next elections, Pander Sols was re-elected as party-president and the GLD was alive and kicking, winning 6 seats again in congress.
