Róisín Dubh (The Embodiment of Ireland) is the name given to the Central Organization of the Irish Citizen Army.
The Irish Citizen Army (ICA) was founded in December 2009 with the intention of Uniting and Defending the Island of Ireland, the liberation of oppressed nations and to make allies for Ireland all over the New World. The ICA has taken part in campaigns all over the world including Canada, Australia, South Africa, South Korea, Croatia and USA. They have won praise for their high level of discipline and organisation and for their efforts as a liberation army.
Columns
ICA Soldiers work for a reduced wage to produce their own Weapons, Food and Raw Materials. Each Company where Soldiers work is referred to as a Column and that is essentially their military unit within the ICA. Every product made by ICA Soldiers goes back into the hands of ICA Soldiers. Because they must work and fight together a high level of organisation and discipline is required from Soldiers of the ICA.
