Savez Komunisti eHrvatske, originally started as Savez Komunista Hrvatske, later also known as Savez eKomunista Hrvatske and Savez Komunista eHrvatske, is one of the oldest active Croatian parties in Croatia. The party also controls Crvena Garda, today a military unit which was once one of the strongest Croatian paramilitary units.
History
The party was originally started under ID 2959 on day 819 (16 February 2010) as Savez Komunista Hrvatske[1]. On March 17, due to a political takeover, the party was restarted under a new ID (3024) and continued to exist until day 864 (2 April 2010) when it was transformed into Socijal-liberalna partija (SLP)[2][3]. However, a few days later, in April 2010, it was ultimately reverted again to Savez Komunista Hrvatske and lasted until July 2010 when the party suffered a takeover again.
For 4 months the party was not on the political scene. In October 2010, the party was finally restarted again under the new ID (3336) which is used still today.
- Interesting fact
- Although the party held three different IDs in its history, it never took over another party. Instead, on all three occasions a new party was started from scratch.
