Achievements
Biography
He joined The Unity Party on the same day. He met with another TUPer and they quickly formed a close personal alliance which saw the partnership work hand in hand in the realms of politics and media. Together they quickly rescued The Unity Party which was on its last legs at the time, with only a couple of active members.
Soon after joining The Unity Party, he quickly became interested and devoted to politics, running for Mayor of Bristol after only a few weeks. Squiddy tied for first place, losing out due to the game mechanic which appoints the player with the most experience as the winner should it ever come to a tie. Meanwhile, London born and bred Stan Wephen had lost his previously unrivalled rule in London to a newcomer called AngelFeather. AngelFeather went inactive after a few days and left the game. Squiddy, in the hopes of saving face for TUP, quickly moved to London and joined the London Council. With the help of the much loved Stan Wephen together, they maintained London's impeccable organisation and care for the citizens of London. AngelFeather didn't run a second time and was officially shunned by The Unity Party.
After his time in the London Council, Squiddy decided to run for Mayor of London. With the official backing of Stan Wephen and much support throughout the Erepublik community, he proceeded to win against his opponent, Billy Bright, in a landslide victory that saw Squiddy receive more than twice as many as votes than Billy Bright and more votes than any other mayor in the UK, though that, of course, is because the population of London dwarfs that of any other UK city!
As well as having an interest in domestic affairs, Squiddy also wanted to explore the world of foreign politics, and so, decided to become an apprentice to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tim09.
Squiddy soon became hungry for a more integral role in the politics of the United Kingdom, asking to be nominated for The Unity Party's Congress Electorate roster. Squiddy gained the status of Congressman on September 2nd 2008 and retained that position for a further 6 consecutive months.
Squiddy was known for playing a large part in seeing TUP through its toughest times and beginning the initial boost that has led to TUP becoming the strongest party in the UK. He was the Founder of Unity Enterprises and The Council of Unity as well as setting up and paying for the first TUP Organisation: The Unity Party.
Other eVentures
Squiddy's appetite for Erepublik soon envisaged a wider role in the UK and so, he sought to set up a world leading Corporation with some close friends. Originally, this was a small plan to dominate the new Raw Materials industry with his close friend Hassan Pesaran and Roadrunnerspeed. Zycon was born with a bang and began edging closer and closer to becoming as large as the PCP and UKRP backed companies at the time.
He was also once of the people who oversaw the Royal Navy and Royal Guard migrate to a database driven organisational command.
Squiddy also Co-Hosted a podcast with Dishmcds, Funky44 and Cristi Badea (eRep admin).
He also set up a failed Private Military Company with a good friend He is quoted as saying:
“ We had quite a few hundred people signed up, unfortunately, the work never came in, which is a shame or I'd be Joint Supreme Commander of the eWorld by now ” |
Eventually, Squiddy left the game. He attributed this to the terrible decision to join PEACE. He did, however, come back several times but eventually left again.
