StygianSteel was a citizen of USA.
StygianSteel joined the United States Green Party based on his political leanings and environmentalism. In the party he briefly served as Vice Party president until then Party president Jamarcus left and he followed. He investigated other options and came to choose the United Independents Party. During this time StygianSteel also founded the company Eagles Lumber.
United Independents Party
Upon joining the United Independents Party, StygianSteel ran for Congress and won the Congressional seat in New Hampshire. Two more consecutive terms would follow this.
StygianSteel became involved in the party's leadership ranks as his work ethic and effort earned him the position of Internal Communications Coordinator. StygianSteel was one of the founding members of this team and helped to establish it along with the current party leadership. After a month, he moved to establish a new team as Recruiting Coordinator. Following another month in this new role, he was chosen by Joshua Hoss as his Vice Party president. When Joshua Hoss completed his term, StygianSteel then ran a successful campaign to become the next party president of the United Independents Party. One more term followed this before he decided to step down of his own accord, citing the need for a semi-vacation.
Military Days & Israel
Upon leaving the position of Party president, StygianSteel, enlisted and served with the United States Airborne in the 82nd division, 3rd platoon. After a term of service, he decided to make a move to Israel and help his friend and former United Independents Party colleague Joshua Hoss with his efforts in the Israeli Defence Force. Rising through the ranks, StygianSteel attained the rank of General and led the IDF forces for a time.
Death & Rebirth
Feeling burnt out, StygianSteel slipped into death for a time and has later been reborn to the New World. As of Day 1,169 StygianSteel is once again alive and has returned to the USA as well as the United Independents Party.
His Final farewell message was published in his newspaper:
What has also become routine is the exasperated sigh that coming on and seeing changes evokes. Well, this is the last time it'll happen. So long eRepublik. You've got one less citizen to try to milk for gold/cash and kick around.
550 X 4 health a day? Unnecessary. Every 6 hours? I don't want to be here that much and I don't want to try to keep up with it. This is supposed to be a little casual game. At the same time I'm competitive and want to be. This update makes it impossible for anyone with half a life.
This isn't a rage quit. I'm too tired to rage. This is more akin to an apathy quit. I'm sick of it. So long and thanks to all those who did their best to make this game despite the game's continued efforts to the contrary.
