This is an excellent template, but I'm running into a few problems with using it for Dioism. I'm going to include my work here to show what I'm having trouble with, because it's not easy to explain without a visual of the problem.

First, I don't think all the categorization is necessary. This might sound a little confusing, but I think that categories that are most likely to have one slot (Like Denominations and Religious Texts should be the title of the category. This would be useful because I would be able to include the chapters of The Book under it's category.

Second, we need a slot for the Deity of the religion. I guess I can add this one myself easily enough, but I have no experience with #if handlers, so I'll just bang away at it until it works.

Third, I propose that Philosophy should be changed to Theology, because it would make more sense in the context.

Also, under Denominations on my template, I want to put Non-Dioists and Category:Anti-Dioists under Category:Dioists, but if I add a page break, the template skips the category. Is there a fix for this?

I'm going to add to this as I come up with ideas, but I wanted to gain consensus before I ruin The Path's template by accident. --AgentChieftain Flag of the Crescent and Star T / H / E 16:45, 28 July 2008 (BST)

Oohh, nice logo. --Siclo Flag of the Crescent and Star (TALK|HIST) 17:31, 28 July 2008 (BST)
Thanks for the compliment. I'll run through your issues:
1. I've changed it so that Denominations and Religious Texts can now either stay as is (if not included in the template) or can take on the name of the major denomination/text so that you can list sub-denominations and chapters/other books underneath.
2. Deity can be placed under Prominent Figures, bolded like you've done. I personally don't think there needs to be a separate category or slot for it.
3. I look at what Wikipedia has done for their infoboxes etc. when I remake them on other wikis and they switch back and forth between Philosophy and Theology. I think Philosophy sounds better because not all religions are theist. I suppose I could make it so that it can be changed to Theology if you wanted it to be changed, though. Alright, thanks for getting back to me so fast. Now, I'm unable to change the colors of the links without breaking them, which I'm guessing has something to do with using Template:ConditionalRow2 or the span tags being enclosed in variables. Is there any way for me to change the colors of the links without breaking them, or should I just leave well enough alone? --AgentChieftain Flag of the Crescent and Star T / H / E 03:54, 29 July 2008 (BST)
I don't think it's possible to change link colors, no. At least, I've never seen it done without spans, and that's what you're having trouble with. John Daker | The Eternal Hellenic Republic of Greece | Talk 04:13, 29 July 2008 (BST)
Alright, then. I can take care of the rest of the template from here. Thanks for your help. --AgentChieftain Flag of the Crescent and Star T / H / E 05:33, 29 July 2008 (BST)
I hope no one minds me adding the "category:fictional" to this template. I was hoping to try to streamline the category listings (on the bottom of the pages) across all religions: eg. "Categories: Fictional_articles|Religions|Specific-Religion" instead of different pages having different/random and messy orderings. I also previously added the religions category hoping that this will cleanly include all religions under the category but i removed it after I discovered that the religion template was used within many articles about only specific parts/ideas of the religion and not the whole thing; which screwed up the "category:religions" page. Please let me know if i have accidentally screwed up any other pages that rely on this template by my adding the "category:fictional"!!!! -Laurana Psion- 03:18, 27 October 2008 (EET)
