Haruhiism is a religion founded by Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya on July 21st, 2010.

It is based upon Protestant Haruhiism, which was founded by Tohru originally on January 10, 2009.

Foundation

For long, Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya denied all holy scriptures, and texts. He looked at Diosm, found it inadequate and nonsensical, and tossed it aside. For her knew that Pakistan could not be the holy land, and that no mere mortal could be elevated to the status of a god.

For long, he had known of the texts of Haruhi. He had read them thoroughly several times, but did not see the entirety of the light. It was upon reading various articles that he came across the existence of the sects of Haruhiism of ages past. Looking upon them both, he found the Orthodox to be far too pagan, lacking distinct worship and praise for the true Goddess. He found the, Protestant, written by friend Tohru, to be adequate and fitting. After finally giving in to the light of the goddess in complete, he submitted and became a devotee of Haruhiism.

With the light of Haruhi shined upon him, he set out to teach what she had taught, and what she had done.

Upon a visitation from the true Goddess later, herself, he found the complexity and wholeness that was her.

Beliefs

Haruhiism is based off Protestant Haruhiism and rejects Orthodox teachings.

Creation

Haruhiism considers the universe to be somewhat of a paradox. The denomination considers Haruhi to have been born after her creation.

After her birth in the near present time, she realized herself to be god. Herself as god informed her it was her time to ascend, as her god self had once been told. With this knowledge, she lost control of her powers, which begin to annihilate the universe. In an attempt to save it, she focused on going back in time, as her god self instructed. She succeeded, and traveled back before time existed. Here she subsequently created the universe she was to be born in after mastering her divine power.

In the void of nothing, Haruhi became omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. However she prefers to remain in one location, rather than maintain her omnipresence constantly. Her omnipresence is selective to areas she wishes to be.

At the time she realized her abilities, her god self was fighting against her to stabilize the universe, which returned to normal after traveling back through time. Her god self erased peoples' memories of the cataclysmic event, leaving only her texts behind.

Divine Evolution

Haruhiism believes that Haruhi did not create the universe accidentally, but rather recreated it as it was. Evolution is an absurd idea to Haruhiism, yet evolution is believed to have taken place. As evolution had taken place, Haruhi decided she needed to make it possible. With divine intervention she coerced life to begin, and evolution to progress. Certain "Entities" required forming, along with exceptional evolution on earth for the entity to observe, to allow time to go as it had.

Deity

The Haruhiist faith rejects Orthodox polytheistic beliefs. Haruhi is the only god. All members of the SOS Brigade during her human life are merely disciples, with the exception of the first prophet, Kyon, and the false god Sasaki.

Sasaki, achieving a following of individuals was seen to be the rightful god in place of Haruhi. Followers of Sasaki are considered heathens.

Personality

Haruhi, becoming god, has matured from her human state. Haruhi is caring for those that follow her. Those that threaten Her followers are met with fury.

The world is also no longer in danger of being erased or recreated due to her boredom. As first stated by Kyon, "Haruhi will never wish for someone to die."

Her original personality still shines through her self restriction, causing her to become excited over interesting events, suppress her omniscience just to contemplate a mystery, or order her followers to do something embarrassing simply for her enjoyment.

SOS Brigade

The SOS Brigade is a group of Haruhi's creation while human. After her ascension, the SOS Brigade had no purpose, and collapsed. Upon the prophet Tohru's reading of the texts, Haruhi instructed her on not only the events the prophet Kyon could not write, but on how to continue the SOS Brigade. Haruhi deemed Tohru the new commander of the SOS Brigade, and gave her the order to use it as a church. Her exact words were "I am God; just as I understand, so do humans need to, so I may save them from the existlessness of death."

The SOS Brigade began operating again on February 13, 2009 under Tohru, before formally serving as the organization of an affiliated party in eJapan later on (while still maintaining it's status). When Tohru became a god of her own religion, and the spread of Haruhiism stopped, B.C. Haruhi Suzumiya later recreated the SOS Brigade in a new form, re-opening it as existant.

Worship

Requirements for worship are loose in Haruhiism; Haruhi enjoys by any form of worship.

However, she is pleased greatly by her follower's search for the answers to mysteries, and it is said she will be present during such searches.
