Dear Prince, this is a warning that you are changing page Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) to a different name which is not official on the eRepublik. RL issues are not a part of eRepublik!!!!!!!!! I will not repeat this any more and next warning will ban here, and warning after that will be forfeit points on eRepublik. Thank you. --AndyCro Icon-Croatia.png Click here to talk with me baby! ;) 06:43, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

It is easier to me to talk here, so you can (if you will feel that you have to) answer below, I monitor all talk pages where I post --AndyCro Icon-Croatia.png Click here to talk with me baby! ;) 12:09, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

About the warning message you sent me / moved from AndyCro user talk page

Dear Andycro, You gave me a warning for speking the truth, this is a little bit outstanding don't you think? I am aware that "Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)" is the name the game administration chose, but be aware that this is violating the UN international laws about the international use of the name (erepublik is an internationally accessed game website), thus now it is my turn to give you a (still small) warning: the administration brought RL issues in the game, we bring RL official organisations in the game... You will see, just because it says "Republic of Macedonia" on the map, it doesnt mean it cannot change... It seems that our 'little' protesting on the game hasn't worked out for us... But seriously, Do you really think that "Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)" is the neutral way? Then why are Greeks still leaving and protesting, and all the FYROMians keep posting comments of... actual joy? :S It is outraging to be seeing the name of my homeland, the name of the place where I am studying (University of western MACEDONIA, GREECE), where half of my family comes from, the name that my grandfathers have told me a thousand stories for, the name that is a synonym to 4000 hundred years of history, is a name given to unidentified confused Bulgarian-Albanian-Exserbian-slavs... They came in Europe in the year around 600 AD, but yet you gave them 4000 years of history. I know that you couldnt do otherwise due to the pressure you had from the both sides, but "FYROM" is not a solution. Please spend some time to read my arguments: [http://www.panmacedonian.info/FALLACIESANDFACTS.htm ]I didn't mean to offend you in any way, I know you are just doing your job, but sometimes you got to know if your job is right or wrong, even if you keep doing it... I hope you will be interested in the website I gave you and reconsider the fact of giving me a forfeit point in the future. Nick (Prince of Estherland)

Dear Nick, first I have to say THANK YOU for this long and detailed answered. Unfortunately I am not the eRepublik Admin, only humble Uber Editor which has the most difficult task - to maintain the order here on wiki. Honestly, Admins often do crazy things and I feel that naming policy is probably the smallest problem here (currently I am losing my mind with this game updates which are stupid and have no sense). I know about the dispute that you and people of above mentioned republic have, but this is not the place to deal with it. You have to pressure the game Admins if you want to sort the things out, because until the Admins change the name (if they will change the name), the official GAME NAME of the mentioned republic is Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). My task is to ensure that only official ingame names are handled on the wiki so that there is no confusion here. As I punish people that create non-existent ingame countries here on the wiki, that way I punish people that are trying to rename the existing ingame countries. So, if you are not happy with the name - write articles, open letters, tickets, but do not vandalize wiki. This won't get you anywhere. Trust me. And please understand me. As I don't let people vandalize region Macedonia I can't let you vandalize current name of the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). Thank you for your time. --AndyCro Icon-Croatia.png Click here to talk with me baby! ;) 12:09, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for your fast answer Andycro! :)
I know you are not responsible for this whole issue, and of course there are no hard feelings against you, I am even quite fascinated you replied so fast!
You see, you said we should write articles, comments shouts etc... Many Greek players have been banned because of these things though, and the articles and comments get deleted. The reason? "Debating against an admin's decision"...
The irony is that the first who debated against the admin's decision was... The admin!
Take a look at what I mean:
- 16 days ago, by admin: "[...] we have discovered that six of them are ready to face the New World: the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)*** [...]"
"***We know that there is an entire discussion about the name of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. We will not engage ourselves into any debate about this topic, so please do not insist! We will use the same reference as the majority of the International Organisations [...]"
- 2 days ago, by admin: "So, take a look on the Map of the New World and discover: Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)*** [...]"
"***We have a short comment about Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). In the moment we have announced these new countries, we have stated that FYROM will be the official name. Since then, a lot of countries representatives sent tickets telling us that their countries officially agree either Republic of Macedonia, FYROM or both. So we have analyzed the world wide status. And we have discovered that 91 countries use "Republic of Macedonia" in their official purposes, 16 countries and 20 international organizations use "FYROM", 62 countries are using either both names or they are not decided and 28 states have no official reports about the name usage. [...]"
You do realise that, they changed their mind because some countries (sucking up the USA, which unofficially control FYROM) have aknowledhed FYROM as 'Republic Of Macedonia', even though it is not official by the UN, EU, NATO etc!!! I honestly think they got paid or something...
Anyway, thanks for listening, keep up the good work, and I promise I wont mess up with the FYROMian wiki page again! ;)
Nick
