Moving A Page

I have a question regarding a government page that I created a while ago, Australian Cabinet. It has been brought to my attention that some of these positions, aren't in fact, part of the cabinet per say, and are instead just other government positions.

My question is, if I had to move them over to a new page, Government Positions of Australia, or something similar, is there any way to automatically link redirects to the previous page? And if not, how do I go about copying it over, and marking a page for deletion?

As Kuhaa said - don't worry about mistakes, everyone do it and most of them are quite stupid... I remember the time when I wrote RL content on Croatian region articles... How stupid was that? But, as bosses here are not so dangerous and always help with your articles, you just have to work and you will learn... Thanks, Kuhaa! And im glad to hear that im not the only person making mistakes! I have only been using wikis since i got access on here, so im not as experienced as a lot of people here, so im always worried that im making a big mistake. And as for stupid mistakes - i think i think i have been making one for a while now. I have been adding the UTC time at the end of talk pages, without knowing what it stood for. I think i have been about 12 hours behind on the timestamps for a good while now (oops). I will keep up the spirit - i enjoy trying to improve pages when i can! I too didn't have any Wiki experience when I started editing here. But we have a good Help section here and I learned a lot by seeing how other pages were written and formatted. And of course people guided me when I made mistakes, that's what Wiki community is here for. And I'm still in the process of learning new things so it takes time. Deletion template

Dear friend, when you use deletion template you have to use it in this way: {{subst:Deletion|Timeoin|reason}} and not with Deletion/Core. This is no big deal, but if you not used it correctly then the article you want to delete doesn't show up in Category:Articles for Deletion. Could you please work on finishing your stub pages? This is a category that all editors need to work on reduce the number of. Also, I have had some reports of certain users that you have a history with who feel that your edits on their page are harassing. I would suggest for sake of neutrality that you stay away from the pages of people that you have a tense in game history. --QJ Lincoln Talk To Me 16:15, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Exception in naming policy

Hi! You had moved page DropBears to [Dropbears] in order to implement new Naming policy. However, this is an exception to the policy as DropBears is considered a game entity and should therefore have same name here as it has in eRepublik. It's an exception because it's name seems to be DropBear in eRepublik. For example, if someone named their company SweetPotatoes, it would be names SweetPotates here, not Sweetpotatoes or Sweet potatoes because the Wiki link on it's eRepublik page wouldn't work. How do Australians refer to it? Do you call it DropBears or Dropbears? As the page DropBears has been around for so long and there were so many references to it by that name I assumed it's official name is DropBears and not Dropbears but now that I think of it, there's no way I could know for sure. So it just might be that it's me who's made a mistake here.-- Kuhaa|sTalk to me! 14:14, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Yes, they are fine. I edited the ones with Presidential elections so they'd be like the previous ones (*date* - Xth Presidential elections of V1 were held), and you had forgotten to change the date on some (there were lots of "5th of March"s around) but it's good you created them, someone had to do it. -- Kuhaa|sTalk to me! 19:06, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi. For party categories, you do not need to add the country. They should just have: Party Members and People of <country> categories only. People of <country> is always constructed so that it is a sub-category of the <country> category. --QJ Lincoln Talk To Me 13:09, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

linking to files...

I don't think it is such a good idea to link to files to keep a page from being lonely. Files get removed and changed all the time. The point of making a page not lonely is that it links to another text page and vice versa. If the user has a User page, you can link to that if there is no other way.
