Nederlands Nieuws (Dutch News) is a newspaper that is owned by Mattio. The paper was founded on day 1.525, after Mattio had been away from eRepublik for 500 days.

Mattio asks his readers to comment with the sentence Ik ben levenloos en eet een besje (I have no life and eat a berry). Under the ones that comment this, he raffles bread. At almost every article, Mattio raffles something. Sometimes just bread, sometimes more stuff.
