Well done! You have reached day 2, and things are already looking brighter. As yesterday, start your day by working and training, to get that glorious strength, money and random booster (these will be useful eventually, I promise). With that you should also level up, which refills your energy bar, gives you +20 maximum energy and gives you a nice shiny number 2 next to your profile. You will find that levelling up too quickly is a bad thing, but early on it just happens with your day to day activities. More explanation about “smart levelling” will be dealt with in a separate guide: for now just think of it this way: eRepublik is split into 4 groups based on experience: the quicker you gain experience, the quicker you’ll be lumped in with stronger players in the higher groups.

Today after working, training and levelling I have 1276 currency and 2 gold, as well as some Q5 weapons, food and energy bars. I will need to buy food shortly, but not quite yet. Today we’re going to look at some of the missions:

The first mission involves us training for the first time, which is relatively easy. The rewards are listed to the left: 5 free strength, plus 2 weapons currently worth… 8 currency each. Not too bad for about two seconds. Everything has moved along one and a new mission has appeared. Notice that the moment I completed the mission, I accepted the reward. There are some missions which only count from the moment the mission appears, so any activity you do before it appears won’t count. Thus, get in the habit of accepting the mission rewards as soon as possible, otherwise a future mission may require you to do something that you have already done. The next two (the chevron, and the medal) are both related to fighting, so I’m going to leave those for now. Going through the missions, they're relatively easy and simple. After gaining more strength, experience, we also receive a reward which will give us gold, more maximum energy, and most importantly '''unlock some additional training grounds''' Until now, we have only had access to a free training ground, which gives us 5 strength per day. Additional paid training grounds may seem like a good idea, but they are neither useful, nor economical. We can increase the strength we gain in other more economic ways, which we'll explore later on.

Today we’re going to look at some of the missions.

Going through the missions, they're relatively easy and simple. Additional paid training grounds may seem like a good idea, but they are neither useful, nor economical.
