Translators, read this!

Translating is quite easy. Just follow the steps below and you'll be fine. If you need help, ask it here, at the Bar or in the IRC #wiki.

  1. Create following pages in your language.
    1. Portal:Main_Page/Welcome
    2. Portal:Main_Page/Getting started
    3. Portal:Main_Page/About
    4. Portal:Main Page/Current event
    5. Portal:Main Page/Historical article
    6. Portal:Main_Page/Military
    7. Portal:Main_Page/Economy
    8. Portal:Main_Page/Politics
    9. Portal:Main_Page/Media
    10. Portal:Main_Page/News (if you want to translate the news section, latest events aren't translatable)
  2. Create Portal:Main_Page in your language and copy the code from English page there.
  3. Translate every header= parameters in the code.
  4. Then replace the content= parameter with your translated version
    1. E.g. content={{Portal:Main_Page/Getting started}} --> content={{Portal:Main_Page/Getting started/Suomi}}
  5. Also add /yourlang to the editlink= field in order to get the edit links point at right location.
    1. E.g. editlink=About --> editlink=About/Suomi
  6. Finally, create the Main Page in your language with following code: {{Portal:Main Page}}[[Category:yourlang]]
