The People's Socialist Party was a center-left party in Austria. In November 2009, the party name was changed to Socialist Party.
History
The party was initially formed by a very young citizen Lolpacker, this led to a rebirth of battered Austrian politics and with the help of another party member (Ivanlp) the national forums were created.
So far the PSP has only faced one vote and this was a presidential election and the candidate was Ivanlp. Ivanlp was only appointed candidate after Lolpacker's unexplained banning and had very little time to campaign and lost to Lynari by 28 to 15.
The party continued to be involved in Austrian politics, but came under a period of stagnation. Under the leadership of the new Party President, Stancel, a party org was created, and a commune. It was decided that the name would be changed to the Socialist Party.
