Alexander Romanov (born April 20, 2009 in Russia, died August 18, 2009 in Israel) was a businessman, politician, and soldier. Although Romanov was not born in Israel, he has since immigrated and began a successful career in politics there.

Elected to the Party Presidency of the Kadima in July 2009, Romanov reorganised the party. He renamed it to Israeli Kosher Party. The Israeli Kosher Party or "IKP (founded August 2009)," was a short-lived a center-left political party in Israel. It had 33 members, and 6/38 seats in congress of Israel. After death of Alexander Romanov party was dissolved.

He was instrumental in the development of the Kadima-Likud Coalition. On August 16, 2009, the newly reelected Kadima Party president Alexander Romanov signed a coalition contract with the newly elected The Likud Party President Justin Moore. The terms of the coalition contract included coordinating elections, sharing a common forum, and creating a common party platform.

Romanov reached the level of Captain on July 10, 2009 while fighting in Hungary.

He was a member of the Israeli Defense Forces defending Israel.
